Great Family Stay and Location, But Service and Operations Need Attention Overall, Aryaduta Suites Semanggi is worth the stay! I chose the 3-Bedroom Family Unit, and my nephews absolutely loved the playroom filled with toys. The location is incredibly strategic, the facilities are complete and clean, and both the swimming pool and jacuzzi were well-maintained and enjoyable for the family. However, as a fellow hospitality professional, there are a few operational and service recovery issues I would like to highlight for management to consider: - Check-in Delay: My check-in was delayed by an hour and a half (rooms were only ready at 15:30 instead of 14:00). To make matters worse, engineering and housekeeping staff were still inside the unit when I entered. This definitely compromises standard SOPs and the guest arrival experience. - Amenities: Given the price point, it was disappointing that water dispensers are not standard in these large units. Being asked to rent one for an additional fee feels ungenerous. I highly recommend including dispensers in specific premium room tiers without extra charges. - Room Layout: While the family concept is great, utilizing two full bedrooms just for kids (with one entirely dedicated as a playroom) felt a bit inefficient. It would be much better to maximize one bedroom with toys and equip the other with a proper single or queen bed. - Elevator Maintenance: This was a major issue. Only 1 out of 3 elevators was functioning during a high-occupancy period. My family waited over 30 minutes on the 26th floor just to go to the pool, to the point where I had to call Guest Services to request service elevator access. Please schedule heavy maintenance during low-occupancy periods. - Missed Requests: I requested two extra blankets, but only one was delivered. When I followed up, I was told they would "check with housekeeping," but no one ever got back to me, leaving one family member without a blanket. If there is a limit on extra amenities, it is always better to be transparent upfront rather than overpromising and underdelivering. Despite these hiccups, it remains a comfortable place for a family staycation. I hope management takes this feedback constructively to improve future operations.
