We stayed here for two nights in July. It was one of two cheapest places we found around undue. We weren't disappointed, the welcome was great, the place looked great, there is a large lake nearby, and the view is perfect from outside of the butit. The room is really simple with a bed, table, and bathroom with a shower, what more do you need? The price was really great, so I couldn't even complain about the cold matter in the bathroom yes, it was a little difficult to take a shower on these cold days, but it's healthy, isn't it. There was other couples complaining about it at the reception and about other things I guess, trying to get something for free. Seriously, guys, if you book four seasons, well, but for this price, be happy that there are no bugs and that the local family is fantastic!.

Totally disappointed. We stayed at the so-called villas. It's a compound of abandoned villas. It appears like a big four-star hotel that was abandoned and used by the family to make money. The lady told me it was full of families the day before. A lie. We were the only ones to stay here. The wife or husband always come and ask you if you want a taxi, tours, or extra food. They seem to have dollar signs on their eyes. We didn't accept any of them. Tiny free breakfast. Feeled hungry afterwards. One pancake and one tea. 500 m walk from reception. The villas lack wifi or even internet connection even with an Indonesian phone! If anything happens to you, you can't call anyone! Far from the major temples. Try eating at the garda restaurant a minute walk from your sleeping place. They take you home if you ask. We took the autostop to see the temples and it worked very well! Do not accept any service from these ecotourism workers. For them ecotourism abandoned place to make money behind the tourist back.

I had paid in advance for the villa for two nights. My girlfriend and a mutual buddy of ours were looking forward to the stay because the villa was highly recommended by other travelers. When we arrived, the staff informed us that villas were not available, but will be tomorrow after 13.00. We are instructed to cancel the booking from application and request a refund, but we can't do this on our own. Instead, using the owners phone and instructions, on behalf of the staff and ourselves, we are instructed to write a long email to application explaining the situation and asking for a refund in general because butit member ecotourism is unable to give us what it had sold us. We had to settle for the rooms we didn't wantpay for the first night, but luckily he had his own light sleeping bag. Upon arrival to the villa, we are told that the villa is still not available. There were other people still staying there. When we arrived at the villa, we were told we had to arrange for a proper discount on the entire stay because the initial agreement had not been made in the first place. We were taken to a brief walk which none of us had ever wished for, but the second night's room was still the same as the one we had earlier.
