Our arrival was special, as the owner did nothing to greet us. Read a lot of comments about the hospitality, which we didn't encounter at all. Still wondering why. The room is very simple which was fine. maybe some cushions on the bench outside. Shower is cold, but that's ok for a basic stay. Food was very basic. At 7 in the night, which was too late for the owner. His wife made us something which was nice. But I would recommend providing information about diner hours as I cannot guess what time the kitchen closes. There is nearly nothing accessible on foot wrongs that are closed, so in my opinion, information should be given by the owner. Maybe as part of the warm welcome? Breakfast is very scarce. I literally got 2 leftover boiled eggs from the table next to us, some bread and almost empty jars of jam. That has nothing to do with simplicity and feels very disrespectful to visitors. Weve traveled the world and stayed in very rural areas where people make a living from what they have at the time. We discussed it with the owner and for his sake I don't go into details. Hope you can learn from this experience. Just a tip check the equipment! I think this place has plenty of potential as it is in a great location. But Jeremy and his wife need to improve their hospitality skills as we felt this was the least hospit

I completed my internship as a diving master and the proprietor, Jeffrey. Three months of superb diving, great cuisine, and friendly company were enjoyed by everyone. The location is a little off the beaten path, making it ideal for those who want to see something that is not overrun by tourists. The lodging is simple but spotless, comfortable, and only a few meters from the water. Since Maya's wife makes meals at the hotel really tasty and reasonably priced, it is highly recommended. On the diving side, it's truly stunning, the corals are fantastic, and there are many macros. However, if you have some luck, you can also identify larger things, such as sharks, eagle rays, and others. Turtles are also a common sight. Recommenced for all divers, from professionals to complete beginners, the proprietors, as described earlier, are always prepared to assist and go above and above to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

I really enjoy my stay here. It is important to keep in mind that there is not much going on or to do in the immediate surroundings, so if you are seeking peace and quiet, youll find it here. Apart from the other guests staying at the hotelhomestay, it will be difficult to find tourists in this area of look. Jeremy and Maya are very friendly and will help you with anything. Jeremys diving with him was very good, there was plenty of interesting things to see underwater and I did not see any other lifeboats nearby on my 6 dives. Maya's food is excellent. Both Jeremy and Maya were helpful in setting up some of my other activities like hiking. Rinjani and the boat tour from look to flores. I also met some very nice and interesting people who were also staying at the hotelhomestay, including a very inspiring artist from France. I highly suggest following him on Instagram hminorsidney river.
