I can't wait to return. Perfect place to relax after a long weekend on Gil t. The air there is also really calm and the place makes us feel at home. The breakfast was tasty and the room was very nice.

I really appreciate all the managers there. I stayed at 3 different places before I found the great sunset. Joshua is more like a night manager, he's always funny and incredibly generous.

My second visit at the grand sunset was this time, and I can't think of staying at another location on the island. The hotel is precisely sculpted into the surrounding palm trees and beaches, and the staff is really helpful. The calm surroundings are ideal for getting away from it all. This time, my two adolescent sons were out on a voyage with me, and they took the dive class offered by the nearby dive school. Really enjoyed it! So yes, there are activities to do if you want, but I just wanted pure relaxation, and it comes out. I have tried each of the breakfast options, which are outstanding in taste. All of the food choices I had were excellent, generous portions, and a fantastic flavor blend. The rooms are roomy, and while some may be worn out in a few spots, it adds to the aura of being in the jungle! The outdoor bathrooms are just the finishing touch. Beautiful spaces and designed to ensure that your toiletries won't get wet on the sink of rain, however going to the bathroom during a nighttime downpour was a fun experience. I adore this hotel and will stay there again the next time I visit Gil.

I will recommend this to anyone staying on the island. I spent three nights at a grand sunset in Gil Air, and I had a wonderful time. The lodging was located close to the shore and had a wide selection of food and beverages. The restaurant opened out onto the beach, where they frequently had live music and entertainment in the evening. I also completed my open-water diving lesson. One of the instructors, Alex, was excellent and extremely welcoming. He made the dives really enjoyable and was always ready to answer any questions or help.
