About Kathy's Place Karimun Jawa
My partner and I love to travel. When we do, we like to stay in nice accommodation, but as we travel a lot, we try to find comfortable, clean accommodation at reasonable prices. We first went to Karimunjawa in May 2017, instantly fell in love with the archipelago, and decided we would like to open a guest house there. We selected a building and completely redeveloped it to create what is now Kathy's Place.
Our vision was to create a "boutique" guest house - clean, comfortable, and stylish and to be able to market it at a reasonable price for travelers to enjoy wonderful Karimunjava at reasonable prices, staying in accommodation that feels like home. We think we have achieved that and the feedback we get from our guests certainly suggests the same.
Our beds are brand new, and our European bed linen too. All the rooms have aircon and we have wonderful hot showers. The communal areas are nice with high-quality hand-built furniture and original artwork. We feel at home when we stay there. We hope you do too!

Kathy's Place is situated right in the center of Karimunjava Town. We are 5 minutes by Motorbike from the ferry terminal. We are opposite the top-ranked restaurant on the island and a short walk from "Alun Alun" where you can dine on wonderful barbecued fresh fish every night of the week. The ATM is also just a few steps down the road. The pier for boat trips is a 5-minute walk away. The nearest airport is Dewandaru Airport, 17.1 km from the property.
