Our family of four stayed at Milan for 2 nights. The location is about a quarter mile from Domo, and it is quite quiet. The owner is extremely kind and accommodating. I advise getting directions via email a few days before your arrival to get directions on how to find the place and how to enter. Otherwise, you may have some problems, particularly if you arrive early, late, or over the weekend. The rooms are clean, and the beds are adequate. The word of caution, although we had a clean private bathroom, showers would be difficult for people with mobility issues or people with big body frame. Breakfast is acceptable. No air conditioning. The place is a little congested with strange furniture and other things. Summary, if you come to see the city and require a place to sleep, I recommend it if you are seeking comfort and prefer to relax in your room during the day frequently, you might want to consider other options.

This location is right in the middle of a main street full of shops and can be easily found by the taxi driver. The very kind owner sent us an email and a text telling us how to get to the apartment ie. Ring the doorbell with her name on it, choose the way inside the building, choose the floor to take the elevator etc. The place was quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom was cleaned regularly. Breakfast was plentiful, with all types of bread and spreads available. During our stay in Italy, we didn't get whole wheat or rye but this one was available which made us happy. The owner was very kind and helpful. Do not expect 5 star surroundings. If you want 5 star facilities, go and pay 5 star prices in a 5-star hotel! You get what you pay for! Overall, this is great value for money considering the amazing location and friendly service. My husband and I would love to recommend this place to anyone on a budget.

Check your email and respond to the owner. She will give you detailed instructions from the airport to the door. Provide her with any information you want and your needs will be met by the time you arrive. The location is very central a short walk from dumb and surprisingly quiet. The gelato shop across the street was very good. For Milan we thought the prices were reasonable for the facilities provided. We had a private bathroom, bedroom, and sitting area with everything we needed to make an Italian breakfast milk, coffee, juice, bread, eggs, espresso, croissants, tea, jelly, meat, and cheese. Mentioning that you needed something, and it almost magically appeared that the American coffee was running out and that it was there before we knew it. Wifi worked well. No to, but do you come to italy to watch in your room? Take a taxi from the dumb and gallery or the street down via Torino to find quaint inexpensive restaurants to eat in. There is no air conditioning, but ceiling fans in the bedroom sitting area which wasnt a problem in September with the windows open and the breeze.

The location was great, but you have to pay a high price for the amenities. The host was very friendly. Centrally located, close to shopping areas and palaces. Overall I had a good time here. If you need variety, it's better to bring your own food.

The housekeeping was so rude, as she always wanted to know if we have everything that you required, and she would always come to the room when you left, and it could be a little intimidating. The room was tidy, but some amenities like the lamps weren't functional. The shared bathroom was terrible. The shower was a little ramshackle and had parcel tape tape attached to the wall, and the shower head was anchored too low for anyone over 510. The shower head was flimsy and cramped. The shower is not huge enough for an adult male to stand comfortably sideways without getting stuck to the curtain or pounding the shower faucet off to such a high temperature. My partner who lives in Milan stayed here as a couple for a week over Valentine's weekend. It was so terrible that my spouse would return to his apartment every day to use the shower there. The breakfast area has many coffee makers, but there is very little food other than croissants and bread with jam each morning. No hot food and you have to cook everything yourself. The hostess was always asking if we had everything we needed, which was good but perhaps overbearing, and she always appeared to be present when you departed your room. The maid always left the rooms open after cleaning them every day, which we thought to be unprofessional. We had to reserve this last minute
