The hotel is truly remarkable, boasting a truly balinese aesthetic. The breakfast offered is basic, yet the staff members are exceptionally kind and accommodating. However, there is a lack of systematic change in the linens and towels, which may require further clarification. It is advisable to inquire about these issues.

We can say that this is a place we can't wait to visit again. It is concealed in plain view and spread out on lovely terraced grounds. It is surrounded by lovely terraced gardens and a lot of little streams flowing from statues and sculptures of wood, all of which have been meticulously prepared over years. The balinese people are cordial and hospitable, the epitome of hospitable hospitality. This place is quite different from other places in Canyou because the proprietors are on-site. Different from many locations in Canyou, this is a place where lodgings that seem eerie. The bungalows and gardens have been crafted beautifully in a variety of Indonesian styles. The rooms are spacious and with comfy antique beds, with a slightly updated touch. There are two yoga stores and one restaurant that are currently closed due to the corona crisis, but they graciously made coffee and made us kombucha.

This is my second visit to Taman Nauli, and I felt like I was coming home. A unique boutique hotel, set just off the very busy main road within stunning subtropical gardens, with temples, Ganesh and Buddhas a-plenty. The air is sweet-smelling from incense burning. Rooms are incredible - spacious, funky bathrooms - some have outdoor showers. Beds are huge and high up with superb mattresses. Don’t expect hairdryers, hospitality trays or mini bars - this hotel is all based on nature and what she provides. They retain a slight industrial feel along with antique artefacts - it’s a good eclectic mix. The backdrop is either paddy fields or pendang fields, depending on your room. All have A/C, outdoor space and seating. The rooms are converted from a fabric / sewing factory I believe. Staff go beyond to make your stay comfortable. There is a pretty pool, but no sunbeds... take to the beach instead ! The restaurant offers a decent choice of fabulous food - local dishes, specialities from Sumatra and yes - you get a decent cup of Twinings black tea served with fresh milk and a glorious smile. There are also more westernised / world foods served well and all offering excellent value for money (I’m British). There are several yoga classes weekly for all levels and chance to try Balinese cookery classes etc. Once you have decided to stay here you’ll be greeted in the lobby, a separate open-sided typically Balinese building and a fresh coconut to revive you. Tampilannya sangat khas dan stylish, cocok untuk berfoto! Staf layanannya ramah. Namun, dekorasi ruangan yang terbuat dari kayu membuat ruangan terlihat sangat tua. Tempat tidur terlalu tinggi, tidak cocok untuk keluarga dengan anak-anak. Kamar mandi memiliki jendela luar yang menghubungkan ke luar ruangan, membuat ruangan penuh dengan nyamuk bahkan tikus! Anjing di BdanB akan menaiki tangga ke lantai dua dan menggali tong sampah. Mandi membutuhkan waktu 5 menit untuk mendapatkan air panas untuk mandi.

This place has it all. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are large, clean and comfortable, the whole place is really nicely decorated and very well maintained. It is very peaceful. The restaurant and bar serves very good indonesian and western food. The pool is large and clean, they organize yoga and cooking classes. The only downside is that its not within walking distance to the beach, but you can rent a scooter and drive 10 minutes.

The location is beautiful, and the rooms are nice, clean, and spacious. The bed is comfortable, and the location is great if you want to be close to both canggu and seminyak. Close enough to most yoga spots in canggu and popular brunch areas, but aside from that, there are some small details that could be improved. The staff is very friendly, but some of the staff spoke little to no english, which made it frustrating. I also felt that they had to be asked to do things rather than proactive service, for example, if i have to go to the car when it rains heavily to shelter me with an umbrella and when i asked if they can pick me up with one when i return and i will honk, they didnt. I was wet, and the two staff cleaning the reception area didnt bother and were more focused on covering the sofas from the rain. When i checked in, the pillows smelled sweaty / used and even the next day after the room was cleaned it smelled like this so i had to ask for them to change. Again, this is the case of no proactive service from the staff, i have to ask them to burn a coil for the mosquitoes before they do so. Towels were not changed quickly. Because the beds are comfortable, i knocked out but you can definitely hear the traffic from the busy main road it is next to.

If youre in the area, this location has lovely surroundings, some hindu sculptures, and a lot of plants. The coffee was also excellent. The corn fritters were fantastic and reasonably priced. We went there for breakfast because my friend had recommended it to me, and we werent let down. Excellent service and cuisine.
