We stayed at the asa maia for an eightday, sevennight exhale package. You can see the beauty of owner mary bookes attention to detail, cultural awareness, exquisite aesthetic, and connection to bali in every facet of this tenroom property. Guests sleep in meticulously relocated and reconstructed traditional eastjavanese gladak houses with sloped bamboo roofs. Each gladak has been modernized with stunning bathrooms and outdoor showers, sensitive lighting systems, and sumba textiles by earthline architects, who also created the amazing contrast therapy hot and cold plunge center, main reception building and spa, cool older couples, cool older couples, fitpos, and super casual types. We all sit at a crowded communal table for meals, but if you want to relax, there is no obligation to interact with the staff. The unpretentious, stunning spa treatments, including hot and cold treatment, along with the truly amazing yin and vinyasa classes, are all topnotch. We loved the mix of guests, from straight and lbgtqia couples stopping in for a long weekend, mums and daughters, cool older couples, cool older couples, and super casual types. The wifi is also very good, and i found it a great place to read, write, and read.

The food is absolutely amazing and the staff are so kind and helpful with any question or problem you may have. I lost my phone and they helped me find it! One of the most beautiful hotels ive ever stayed in. Hats off to the architects and craftsmen.

Overall, it was one of the best experiences weve had in bali. There are many restaurants in the area, but the hotel only serves vegetarian and vegan cuisine. The staff is incredibly friendly, the service is impeccable, and the food was absolutely delicious. The facilities are absolutely fantastic. They also offer free yoga classes and ice bath resistance training.

This hotel offers the best of both worlds, its tucked away from the main road and conveniently located near local gems like ulu garden and m. Mason. Bar. The food options here are very satisfying. The staffs exceptional attention to detail, from remembering our names to checking in via WhatsApp, really made our stay feel like a home away from home. The gym, refreshing saltwater pool, and unique contrast therapy featuring hot and cold plunge pools were the highlight of our experience. The focus on wellness with yoga and other relaxing activities was a welcome part of our trip, without being forced or overly promoted as a promotional part of our stay, which we are happy about. In summary, asa maia offers the perfect blend of service excellence, impressive cleanliness, and diverse amenities, all wrapped up in a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The focus on wellness and relaxation makes it an ideal place to relax without completely obstructing you from local attractions and experiences. We cant wait to return for a longer stay and highly recommend this hotel for a delightful and rejuvenating getaway.

I have traveled extensively to date, and i can honestly say that there arent many places that stand out in my memory from all the trips ive taken. Asa maia is one of those locations! You can immediately see the attention to detail from the moment you arrive. Everything is exactly as it should be, and the staff is excellent! The rooms are large, private, with a very beautiful design, and very clean and tidy. The idea of a shared table in the restaurant was what i liked most. From the moment you sit down with the other guests, you feel as though you belong there. Kind of like a family! The food was perfect, and the staff attended to all of our needs. After two days, they knew what we liked and didnt like. Everything is perfect, and i can guarantee that your stay here will be lovely!.
