We stayed here for a few nights and would stay there again. Everything in this hostel is brand new, so clean, modern, and has a fantastic pool. Quiet location, just a few minutes by scooter to the beach or the main street with many options for food and drinks. Very friendly family run the place who recommended some fantastic things to do on the island and arranged some fantastic surf guiding. Thank you greengroves!.

I'm very happy to make the decision to stay at Greengroves. I'm not sure if it's just the off-season, but I was really happy to pay 27 Australian dollars for three nights of dorm accommodation. I had to hold it all for three nights worth of savings! The staff was incredibly warm and helpful. The hostel is immaculate. I also saw reviews about bugs on this website that I didn't see anywhere else in the ocean except for the occasional flat. So I could sleep at night, the aircorn in the room was strong enough to cool it down. Each bed includes drapes that are somewhere between a mosquito net and a curtain, an overhead light, and a power outlet. It has a lovely tropical vibe thanks to its green interior. The only drawback is that it is a little farther away from the main road than other accommodations, but since the island is so small, it barely matters. The beach is only a short walk away. At night, be careful not to drive a scooter at night because the roads are small, twisty, and unlit. Put a torch or switch the flashlight on your phone so the scooters can see you. Even though I was frequently out in the shadows by myself a lot of the time, it felt perfect safe.

This hostel was brand new, everything here is neat, the room is modern, and the pool was amazing, plus it has a nice place to stay. The location was quiet, as it was convenient to escape the busy streets and beaches. If you want to have a leisurely vacation, you can go here. The staff is really helpful, especially the owner who arranges great surfing guides for us.
