[Regarding Kumamoto City Accommodation Tax – Effective for stays from July 1, 2026]
Due to the introduction of the Kumamoto City accommodation tax, a fixed tax of JPY 200 per person per night will be charged separately from the room rate. This tax will be collected at check-in, including for reservations that have already been prepaid.
