Saya dan ayah saya memesan kamar superior yang cocok untuk 4 tempat tidur futon. Saya pergi berlibur selama seminggu sebagai hadiah lulus dan dapat tinggal di sini.

This is not a true ryokan. However, if you want secluded lodging, this isnt the place. There were screaming children in the dining room during my stay, but the food in that area was delicious. The location is excellent. Numerous temples, etc. Can be reached on foot from here.

The facilities, staff, and location were all excellent. They treated us very well! From december 22 to dezember 26, they extended our stay in a traditional tatami room with futons. My teenage son is 6 ft 10 and they gave him an extension! Breakfast was genuinely delightful, with occasional changes each morning. The most delightful moment was at checkout. It appears that we left reeked of the incense box we purchased at irritan. One of her lovely front desk staff members literally ran down the street to find us and return it. Who does that? Thats who, yokan karaku in geon! Thank you from our hearts! You helped make our trip to kyoto even better! We will always remember your kindness and the wonderful accommodations. Highly recommended!.

I recently spent three nights at the gion ryokan. It was a pleasant experience. Sleeping on the floor in shabby Japanesestyle futons was unexpectedly cozy. The japanese breakfast was intriguing and unusual. Gion is in the heart of the city and all the attractions are worth visiting. Also, the central city arena was only ten minutes walk away. Excellent service was provided. My only drawback was the cost of lodging and breakfast for three days, which cost between $1035 and $155. Parking and rp60 for city tax.

This was a genuine experience! The staff were very attentive and kind. We stayed in the karaka suite on the highest floor where we enjoyed soaking up the view of the temple as my private view. Breakfast was such savorable and welcoming experience, with excellent service. The location was sick! Right off the main drag. Every evening we strolled home through charming lit up streets with the shrine of yasaka in our backyard. Wonderful experience.

This hotel is perfect for you if you want to experience the classic japanese atmosphere. The staff can speak english well or go out of their way to communicate with you, even a newbie in jap culture. Dont save your compliment. There is only one thing, its not close to any subway or train. So it depends on your purpose to visit kyoto. Not advised to walk haters.

The location is ideal, close to the bustling area and kyotos traditional style. The rooms are spotless and the personnel is polite. We reserved the ryokan suite in the japanese style, which was a unique experience for us.

If i visit this place again, ill stay here once more. Although the rooms arent very big in japan, the service is excellent. Its quite handy because there are many mustsee attractions close to the hotel. There would be better service if there was Chinese assistance.

Its a ryokan experience, but in id like to stay here for ten nights. The breakfast was very nice and peaceful, served in the banquet hall on tatami mats rather than your room which he expected. Onsen is very hot and not very big, however this place is suitable for one night special stay. Note that the room is traditionally set up during the day (low table and two chairs) and at some point in time in evening the staff come and move these before setting up the futons on the floor.

The staff were wonderful! We asked them about pools because it was so fun, and they looked at things up and gave us excellent advice.

I was able to stay here after spending a week on sabbatical as grad gift. The room, which can accommodate four futon beds, was reserved by my father and me, so i assumed it would be larger. However, the room was quite small, and there werent any real clear images of what to have anticipated anyway. We also had breakfast and dinner. I wasnt terribly fond of seafood and tofu at the mr. Brunch was adequate. But the food was bland, cold, or just not outstanding overall. To find eat better food, you should go to the nearest ramen bar. There were few complaints, but the staff was welcoming, their english was understandable, etc. Overall, its if you want to spend maybe one or two nights there, however, there are other options that can provide more of that traditional experience.

This place has a quiet atmosphere and is surrounded by historical landmarks. Yasaka Jinja is right around the corner, and the shijodori shopping district is only three minutes walk away. The room is smaller than expected. Its comfortable for three people, but it might feel packed for four. Breakfast was excellent. Service was pleasant and friendly.

I brought my mother with me, and the location was excellent. The room was large, the facilities were spotless, it was really nice, i found the room to be spacious. Its cozy to use the bathroom while sitting, as it has a seating area, while the bathtub is ideal for soaking primarily in limbo. I particularly remember eating yukatastyle breakfast during my stay, which was very pleasant. Highly recommended.

This time i went to kyoto and chose this very Japanesestyle hotel. The longlost tatami felt very friendly. Small, exquisite, very clean, and the hotel has a wide variety of breakfast options.
