Id say this is the best hotel out of a number of hotels in the Osaka area in terms of price and location services. Perhaps because this hotel is built as a mutual aid for public school teachers, primarily for teachers' welfare and comfort. Anyone can remain here. Its service, room furnishings, and atmosphere are excellent, adequate, and comfy. But if you choose a nice, much excellent service atomosphere like other namebrand hotels, this is not your choice. First of all it is located near Kintetsu uehonmachi station, a 3-minute walk away, and the new Shin Kabuki art gallery. It saves me literally this hottest summer. A large lobby and front is also well-kept unlike many other business hotels. Especially if you like to take a big japanese bath, on the first floor, they provide a chinese herb bath and a hot sauna. Try it. This hotel not only has western-style rooms but also a Japanese-style room with a bed, I mean japanese traditional futon, which is not called a futon in the us. Again, this hotel is not gorgeous, but it is well-kept and reasonably priced for the price range 400 yen 500 yen in the centre of osaka.

I will definitely stay at this hotel again. There is a good receptionist, but it closes at night, so unless your arriving late at night or before 600, you will be fine. The hotel is a bit old and very basic, but clean. The location is good, I would probably stay closer to Shinsaibashi on my next visit.
