As I was traveling alone by motorcycle, the free parking was extremely useful. They have about 10 parking spaces directly behind the hotel, for your information. The rooms are actually quite large compared to what I normally get in Japan for this price range. The bathroom is also spacious and comfortable, even for taller people. I particularly loved the shower, which was at a good height and had strong pressure. The free wifi is not password protected, but the speed is just fine. The convenient location does mean that on one side of the hotel you will be exposed to the railroad tracks. However, I didn't experience any trouble, but I did check out very early. First restaurants and convenience stores are a 510 minute walk from the hotel. Going to the samurai district takes about 15 to 20 minutes on foot. However, if you do go out, you have to leave your large room key at the front desk. Also, it is necessary to tell the employees if you will be back after a certain time I believe it was 2300. The staff was very helpful and his English was good. They were happy to suggest a restaurant in town and helped me with my early checkout. When I requested tissues to clean my helmet visor, they even let me keep the entire pack, which I very much appreciated. Overall a great budget hotel, clean and spacious, conveniently located and helpful staff.

The place is cute and almost roman looking, right by the train station. It is not a ryokanit, just looks like one. Its a bit of a walk into town, but it's not bad a nice way to stroll through a quieter, more quaint side of Japan.

As we were visiting Kakunodate, we stayed here for one night, and we discovered it to be an enjoyable option. The hotel is relatively similar to numerous country hotels and doesn't quite stand out in its particular style. It is incredibly convenient for people traveling by train, and if you're driving, it offers adjacent parking. The hotel provides all of your necessities, but it is far from the majority of major tourist destinations, but you may take local buses there. The personnel were courteous and accommodating, and we ate in the restaurant and enjoyed excellent cuisine, both for supper and breakfast. The rooms are well-appointed and tranquil, and it is contemporary. Despite the brief travel distance to the railway station, I had high expectations for noise, but it is a tiny regional station with few movements, especially at night, so it wasn't disruptive. Even though there is a nearby parking place if you're in a vehicle, it is extremely convenient. There are local buses accessible even if you are traveling to the city's most popular locations.

This place is in a very good, interesting, and cozy location next to Shinkansen National Station, in an amazingly fascinating historic town. The hotel is in a small charming town with a nice, polite, and efficient reception and service. The room was nice and clean. The atmosphere here was very comfortable. There is an excellent and clean room. I really enjoyed the experience of having breakfast and dinner there.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful apart from the minutes walk from the station. I stayed in a ground floor room which was different since there were only two floors. The room was a large twin and there was also a good restaurant attached to the hotel.
