This hotel is near Naka Kawabata Station. The staff is really nice and the price includes free breakfast. The location is close to kata, donquijote, Fukuoka Art Museum, 24 hrs ichiban restaurant, canal city and other tourist attractions. It is located on the quiet side of Naka but close to the Kanto-Kawabata Station.

After almost 30 hours of traveling to Fukuoka, I was pleasantly surprised by the ease and convenience of staying at the Hotel Kata Naka Inn. The subway from the airport to the hotel was quick and cheap, and check-in was easy. The room is small and ideal for one person, there is a huge deep bath tub and a plethora of free bubble baths in the lobby. There is a free breakfast with a wide selection of traditional Japanese food, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fukuoka.

The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the subway's nakamura cabana exit. It's also very close to Tenzin Station, where you can take trains to places like Dazaifu and Naragawa and go shopping. The hotel itself has excellent Japanese-style rooms. There is a ground level near the reception where you may collect whatever amenities you like. Even though they didn't speak English later, the reception was smooth. On one of the night shifts, there was a shift manager who was fluent in English and greatly assisted. excellent WiFi and a good breakfast! But they tend to be the same every day during our four-night visit. There is only one drawback. We booked corner rooms with views of the water, but these rooms lack a soundproof window, which made us have to change rooms. Pillows are too hard. Plus, the double bed isn't ideal for 1 person in Japan. Queen beds are okay for 2. King beds are ideal.

I only stayed here for two nights during the rugby world cup. The location is in a quieter part of town but we walked without any trouble from Kata railway station. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. Excellent breakfast included in the cost. The room exceeded our expectations. Clean and comfortable beds. Plenty of bathrooms with all conveniences. If and only if we return to this lovely city, we won't look anywhere else.

Pros, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the location is excellent, breakfast is provided for free, and the check-out process is simple. However, the comforter cover had several stains. I was moved to another room, and although the stains were less noticeable, I still found some on the bed cover. The bedside lamp in the second room was broken. Since it was my last night in the hotel, I did not request a new room. The hotel is of excellent value for the location, but Id rather stay somewhere clean.
