Our accommodation was lovelyly warm when we got there. The view of the ocean from the picture window was beautiful. Our room was a traditional tatami mat and futon-style room. Dinner was good, with a whole crab as the highlight. The buffet Japanese-style buffet breakfast in the morning was enticingly varied and plentiful. The entryway to the hotel is disappointing because it has the feel of a high school gym.

All very good. The room was comfortable and clean. The only thing I didn't like was that they changed all toothbrushes, sheets and towels daily. Not very eco friendly. Dinner was great but not much variation if you stay three nights. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I had in a Japanese hotel. All staff are friendly.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would stay there again on our next visit. One of the few remaining modern romans in the Kawa region is this one. Our room was large, and the futon bed was a decent size. I enjoyed the onset baths, both inside and out, which were very clean and well maintained. Dinner was a kiseki style as one would expect in this class of roman, with much volume, including a whole crab. It was fine, but I thought they could do better. Breakfast was a buffet. We had to wait until finding a table for six because it was a bit of a busy time. The buffet was typical for this class of hotel, but probably the best in the area. The entire staff was polite and willing to help in any way.

The stunning view from this lovely roman overlooks the sea of Japan and was a daily highlight. The food was the absolute highlight of our stay, although the personnel provided helpful and attentive service. Delicious and fresh food was served at the kiseki dinner, a multicourse meal served on gorgeous dishes. Throughout our visit, there was a complete snow crab that was served. On the first night, it served local ingredients. Our dessert, a whole frozen persimmon from the sad island, was served, and it was fantastic. For the first time, we sampled fugu! Each morning, breakfast was equally delicious and had a wide variety of Japanese cuisine, as well as numerous healthy fruit and vegetable options. While the bathrooms were fairly small, our westernstyle room was roomy, and we received a Kata to wear during our stay. Don't miss the sundown!.

I would recommend this hotel to anybody. In March, when it's off season, we stayed here for 3 nights. The big, enormous hotel, that may be 20 years old and tucked away on a cliff with panoramic views from the lobby, was double the size of the previous hotel in Tokyo. We were surrounded by two experienced cooks on our trip, and they both gave us a wonderful experience. The staff members can speak English well but aren't terrible, and they do everything they can to make the rooms seem to be much larger, with panoramic views of the ocean. All the rooms we stayed in were Western, which were twice the size of our previous tokyo by Japanese standards and were clean and spacious by Japanese standards. The ones are enormous, with infinity views to the sea, and once more pristine, but the meal was unquestionably the major attraction. There are at least 10 courses a night, with very few repeats and all excellent. The included meals, in the end, exceeded the entire price.
