Lovely, helpful and kind staff. Room was a little outdated but very clean and comfortable and fine for 2 adults. In walking distance to train station, great food and sight. The hotel is in the red light district, this didn’t bother us as we are early risers and early to bed, but single travellers may want to keep this in mind. (I was approached whilst smoking a ciggerette by someone thinking I was working). Bathtub, amenities and less than a minutes walk to laundromat and convenience stores, was a bonus. I will stay here again when I return.

Hotel was great. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was big enough for two of us. Would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in the Tokyo area. Defined a nice place to stay if running the Tokyo Marathon. Easy walk to start line and close to public transport stations for after the race.

I stayed at Villa Fontaine Hotel in Shinjuku for 20 nights with 2 adults in a queen bed room. Check-in was at 3:00 PM, and check-out at 11:00 AM. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the train station and subway, and just 5 minutes to the heart of Shinjuku with plenty of food and things to do. The staff were incredibly friendly, and their English was great. They even held our bags before check-in. The hotel is simple but clean, and every 3 days they did a deeper clean with new bedding, while fresh towels and water were provided daily unless you put up a "Do Not Disturb" sign. The room was spacious enough that it didn’t feel claustrophobic, and we could easily open all three of our suitcases. Amenities included pajamas, toothbrushes, razors, face cleansers, moisturizers, green tea, and coffee. After I requested English breakfast tea, they provided a fantastic selection after over a week. While the hotel is near busy Shinjuku, it wasn’t too noisy. If you’re out exploring, you’ll likely be too tired to notice. For 20 days, it felt like home, and we’d definitely stay again. A big thank you to the staff! Note: There’s no washing machine or tumble dryer, but a public laundromat is just a 2-minute walk away. It was easy to use, and the price was reasonable. We didn't have a need for parking or dining options so I don't know about those.

Hotel was in a convenient location -- minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku. Loved that the bedroom and bathroom was very spacious. Our room had enough space for our two checked-in luggages and two carry-on luggages. The hotel offered complimentary toiletries at the lobby area and provided us with two water bottles whenever they entered our room. I would recommend this hotel!

Location wise it’s a great location close to Shinjuku station, but one thing need to be understood about it is located in Kabukicho, it will be very crowded at night. Comfortable and clean hotel, although they are eco friendly cleaning hotel, they also offer swapping towels everyday. Room can fit one large suitcase with a stand provided, you can absolutely open up wide the suitcase. Bed is comfortable and fit for 2 person for sure.

We had a great stay at Villa Fontaine. Very centrally located with attentive staff. The room is small, as to be expected in Tokyo, but the beds were comfortable and the room was dark. The bathroom was nice as well!

This was our second trip to Japan and out of 4 different hotels, this one is pretty par for the course. Small style room but functional. I was happy to have a queen size bed. The shower was a wet room with a door separated from the sink and toilet- I really liked that. The hotel staff dropped hospitality bags off at our door every day that contained new towels, robes, slippers, etc. and they did it so much that we had a room full of these bags by the time we left lol. I wasn't sure about the area around based on reviews. I am a light sleeper and was afraid of the noise but there was none. I heard no people or sirens throughout the night. There were call girls but I did not feel unsafe at any point. I am a 30 year old woman and I would feel very safe walking around the area at night alone. Just like anywhere else in the major cities of Japan, it is very walkable. It is right across the street from 711 and several restaurants. I would recommend this stay to anyone who wants a clean, safe, nice place to sleep for a decent price.
