The room we stayed in was very spacious and clean, with a view of mount fuji from our window! Breakfast was also delicious and filling. Mac was very accommodating and helpful, letting us know the best way to get to the tourist spots around hakone.

It is basic B&B place japanese style with 4 rooms located really close to Ashi lake and pirate cruise stop, about 15 minute walk to Hakone Shrine. The owner of the place Macoto (Mac) has excellent English and was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this place if you are OK staying in basic B&B place

한국인이고 나이도 있으셔서 처음에는 한국에 대해 싫어하실까봐 걱정헀지만 한국여행도 50번 이상하실 정도로 한국을 좋아하시고 저희에게 엄청나게 친절하셨습니다 그리고 방도 넓고 깨끗하고 하코네에서 이가격에 이런 곳은 구하기 힘들 것 같습니다 그리고 무료 조식 진짜 맛있습니다 다른 가게가서 똑같은거 시켜서 먹어봤는데 이 호텔에서 제공하는 조식보다 못했습니다 진짜 뭔가 친가나 외가의 할아버지를 보는 느낌이였습니다 일본에서 한국의 정을 느낀건 이 호텔이 처음인것 같습니다

So these are basic accommodations...(no amenity bags or yukatas here) but the place is clean, the location is great, and the host, Mac, is worth the trip. We could not have been made more welcome and felt more like guests and friends than paying customers. We came away with a richer insight of how Japanese people live...not just another set of tourist experiences. Thanks Mac! This stay was a highlight of our Japan trip. 🤗 There is enough fabulous stuff to do in Hakone to wear out the hardiest tourists. We especially recommend the Hakone Open Air Museum.

Situated near the Hakone Tozan bus stop, the area is uneventful aside from the Tour Boat. Host was very friendly and provided some wise advice during our stay.

A wonderful little hotel on lake ashi next to the pirate ship cruise port. The hosts were fantastic, very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful, always answering any questions and requests with a smile and a joke. They also have a restaurant where they serve a delicious breakfast and a dinner of the day in the evening, when we were there, it was the amazing pork shabby. The location is quiet and the room is cozy. Really made us feel welcome arigato gozaimasu!.

We spent the night at jemsty inn in front of lake ashi, which is right across the street from mac. With two layers of mattress and two layers of blankets, we slept on the tatami. A pleasant taste of a traditional japanese home. Our rooms window overlooks faji san. Just across the street is the harbor of the pirate ship that will take us on the cruise to various stops, including the ropeway to owakudani da yong Gu. Just 150 meters away, you can find lunch and dinner.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Good accommodation with a positive and few negative aspects. Cleanliness of the accommodation was good, creating a pleasant environment. One of the highlights was the choice of Japanese or western style rooms, allowing guests to immerse themselves in local culture. Choosing a japanesestyle room provided a unique and memorable experience. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, with eggs and toast to start the day. The host was extremely friendly and provided valuable recommendations for local activities. If luck is on your side, you may even see mount fuji from room a or b. The accommodation does offer a hotpot dinner for 5000 yen for two people. Another downside was that the bathroom facilities felt somewhat outdated and lacking modern amenities. The relatively simple accommodation provided, the price seemed relatively high, which could be attributed to the desirable hakone location. Otherwise, one could expect more value for the money. Also, checkin was only available from 3.00 pm, leaving guests waiting, even though it seemed like the rooms were ready beforehand.
