I stayed at the Hotel Met nagara one night on business. The hotel is conveniently located close to the station. The room is small but very comfortable and well equipped. The cleanliness is excellent. Close to many shops and restaurants.

The workers checked me in to room 704, a lovely double bedroom with an east outlook overlooking the main station area. The hillside and distant mountains were seen well. After learning where my bicycle had been parked, they called my room and directed me to a more secure location where employees park their bicycles. Although the rooms in Japanese business hotels are not particularly big, this one is significantly larger. Although I cannot hear any of the nearby trains, it is extremely peaceful. Modern fixtures and equipment, as well as a decent selection of amenities, make the bathroom extremely sleek and spacious. The temperature control armour in the shower is excellent. Two western breakfast sets are available at the nearby cuc coffee eatery in the station, which is either served in the hotels japanese buffet or the cuc set menu. I chose the cuc set menu since I needed croque monsieur. You can add a second cup for y 200 if you want something western, which is fantastic. There are many more stores there, and of course a konbini. All of the station shops and the railway gates are accessible by the hotel lobby via a pedestrian. There are a lot of restaurants and bars in the location, which is common in most major subway stations in Japan. Its nothing more feasible than that!.

The central location of the hotel is excellent for commutes to the city center and the railroad. We stayed here during our winter vacation in Nagara. With the train station in close proximity, you can walk here within 5 minutes of leaving. The rooms are fairly simple and small, but the amenities are appropriate for the type of the hotel, which primarily served business travelers passing through the city. There was a nice selection of foods and drinks at a large breakfast bar. There was no wifi, and Starbucks, which is about a 6-minute walk from the hotel next to the station, was the closest. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The hotel itself is attractive and clean. The rooms are quite small but that is common in Japan, so if you're a big person, find a spot that is suitable. The breakfast is typical Japanese, but keep an eye out for the raw eggs, they're not hard boiled. It is promoted that a vending machine is available on the first floor but it is not. There is only complimentary tea available in the room, no coffee, sugar, or creamer so bring your own if you want coffee. Smoking rooms are available on request.

If it's my first time in Nagara by car, the car park next to the hotel is a bit difficult and requires guidance before finding it, but it is convenient! If you don't have a car, a train ride is a great idea because the hotel is just on the top floor. The room is small, even with the largest size there, but very clean. Short stay absolutely recommended
