We stayed at Sanjiro for one night on the last day of 3-day weekend during foliage season. Staff was very very very thoughful. The view from the room was magnificent. Enjoyed a wide variety of japanese mushrooms.

The guest's attitude towards this disfunctioning hotel is a disgrace. Although it was a leisurely trip and I was in Senpai on business attending a conference, I wasn't able to utilize every feature to its fullest. After a lengthy and laborious journey from Tokyo, the handpainted sign on the hotel door, welcoming me by name, was a pleasant sight. After we removed our shoes and put on the provided slippers, we were greeted with green tea before being shown to our room. Be prepared for a lot of theatre comedy miming to communicate the staff are friendly, but the language is a barrier, one receptionist speaks a little English. Just follow the flow, your stay will be staged, but there isn't much room for deviation, don't mess with the system! The room was large, with a toilet and restroom separate. Futons are unrolled for slumber at night. The woman who showed us to the room explained how to roll our kimonos out and about our food, and he explained again in Japanese as well as on a friday night. I believe I missed breakfast because I had overslept the first morning. The spa is addicting and has become a habit. The third night as well, as well as the second, took a while to get used to. In conclusion, the staff is

For tourists traveling in the western world, this place is not particularly practical. Staff that is helpful and welcoming. As the majority of their clients are using the main bath house, inns like these have very inadequate room bathrooms. After being stayed in such lodges for too many nights on a tour, it becomes frustrating to find a bed or bedside table at the door to the est room to place travel objects. Unlike it's est time, this place is recommended unless you really enjoy sleeping on the floor and carrying your luggage on the floor. Excellent traditional fare was served in-house dinner. The Japanese-style brunch was less enjoyable, except for fresh fruit, orange juice, and toast.

We were accompanied by my Japanese friend, which greatly enhanced our overall enjoyment. We were informed by the masseur who came to our room that he only sees perhaps one or two foreigners a year because he was requesting that we only see a few people a year! It's unfortunate that I never realized how little or how little English was actually spoken, but I can highly recommend this place, the room, the cuisine, and the experience as being really pleasant!.

This hotel has been special for us because it fulfills all those boxes. We can enjoy dinner in your room. For Golden Week in Japan this year, a two-week series of public holidays joined together, is what I understand. Because of this, we were limited in our trip planning in february 2019. Roman santino was one that was available for this period. And because the last english review was from 2017, we didn't know what to anticipate. We were somewhat pleasantly delighted, though. This hotel is a little in the process. We greeted by a staff member who tried a little bit of effort at getting the job done. She gave us a personal map of the Romans with our room, location, and meal area highlighted and written in English. It felt as though we had personalized service. The room was lovely, we could see the zoo mountain from our room. Meals were served in a private dining room. There was a personal welcome letter. Dinner was of top-notch quality! We thoroughly loved it. Fresh ingredients were used, and dishes were meticulously prepared. It was special, with a coffee foam on top. I like good coffee, and I liked this one. There were a few private baths that you could rent for 50 minutes. The room rate was cheaper than most other onset hotels, I thought this was acceptable. On checkout, we once more,

We were a fiveperson group and stayed in 2 Japanese style rooms with bathroom en suite. We stayed for 2 nights and were very happy with roman santino. This is a wonderful motel. The setting inside the motel told us that the owner management put a lot of thought into it. The lobby and Japanese style dining area were nicely decorated with traditional Japanese furniture and decorative items. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We had 4 meals, 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners, all of which were delicious and well-presented! The first room was efficient and clean. We really liked having our first bath twice a day!! Loved it. Despite being a bit small, the onset room was efficient and clean. She really took good care of us. She was late in making reservations for the tour we wanted to join and wrote down all the information we needed to know, and she explained it to us in the morning. She even walked from the hotel in the middle of the rain to the tourist information center where we were waiting for the bus to go on the tour to make sure we were at the proper pickup spot. The zauna zoo there is a tour that you can take but you must make your reservation in advance because it is packed up quickly. Unfortunately, we didn't make it as the tour was already full when we arrived. Instead, we went
