立地は良くないが、清潔で安価な宿を探している人にオススメ。京都駅行きの直通バスや、LUUPを利用すれば、安価に移動できる。近くには北野天満宮、金閣寺といった一級観光地も近いし、船岡温泉、千本釈迦堂などの埋もれ観光地も多いので、いつもと違った京都を体験したい人にはオススメです。

We enjoyed our stay. Love the beautiful design of this place. The beds were comfortable. Quiet location, but a bit far from train station. We used the bus instead which was convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel provided welcome drinks. Thank you for the free self service drip coffee and board games in the communal kitchen that we enjoyed as a family.

Nicest hostel style location I have ever stayed at. Staff spoke English very well, made it incredibly easy for a first time traveller. Rooms and utilities were clean and had many ammenities. The Cafe and Lounge below was great to have. with few breakfast options around the area, the cafe being open 6 days a week was amazing. The food and Coffee was 10/10. Will be returning if I ever come back to Kyoto

Kefu Stay and Lounge is a compact boutique hotel. As long as you check in before 9 pm the office is attended by two very nice young people who serve a lovely choice of breakfast and lunch at very reasonable prices. All amenities are in the true clean Japanese style with attention to detail. Our room had a hand basin. The individual shower and other individual toilet were next door in the corridor and were lockable. Recommend.

Kefu stays was amazing! The host went above and beyond to help with our luggage. Everything was so comfortable. Just know the closest subway is a 30 minute walk but you can rent bikes at the front desk!

We stayed here for four nights and it was great! Nice location, very accessible by bus but away from all the crowds in the center. Loved the breakfast, it is amazing and every morning freshly made the cappuccinos are also very good. Showers are nice too. Lots of water pressure and very nice amenities. And last but not least, everyone who works here is very friendly and nice! Will definitely stay here again when in kyoto!.

Kefu is a wonderful little hotel in san kyoto. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the staff we encountered spoke some level of english. They have all the extras you need, including usb charging ports and light dimmers. Although the toilets and showers were shared on our floor, they were always spotless, almost like no one had ever used them. There is also tastier coffee station available with dozens of locally roasted beans to choose from, as well as i have the communal kitchen area with everything you could possibly need. Keifu stay and lounge has been meticulously designed and aesthetic. Read the story about how the establishment was created and what it looks like. It honestly seems like they achieved their goals. This place is just as unique. You cant help but quietly observe the locals going about their day while they are walking around Kyoto on the narrow suburban streets. And you only occasionally see foreigners because the location is somewhat out of the usual tourist centers. To enhance this experience, rent kefus bikes for 500 yen each day and get lost in the alleyways and streets, which are reminiscent of rooster. Small shrines, traditional buildings, tiny restaurants, or eateries will be passed by you, you never know what youll find. I heartily endorse kf
