What a fantastic place to visit. The first japanese bath is very warm and packed with minerals that made my skin feel great. The outdoor bath was especially enjoyable at dawn when birds were singing and the steam was rising off the water. The suite was fantastic. We had a fantastic time. The futons were extremely comfy, and the bathtubs were wonderful. The view from our suite was breathtaking, but it was overshadowed by the wonderful view from the restaurant at the top of the hotel. Simply stunning. If you want to get away to another location, this is it. Not cheap, but certainly worth the trip.

In search of excellent food, we landed on dismal islands. This roman, which turned out to be a treasure after we made a quick reservation without much thought. We have always preferred shorter-onset romans, which typically have a more welcoming, regional vibe. When we arrived, we were shocked to find that this was a fairly big Roman. But the assistance is outstanding, as our luggage was handled and the vehicle was valet-free. The room was incredibly roomy and equipped with many conveniences. We enjoyed the first one while taking a quick bath before supper and the second in the morning, which was a powerful way to reduce abrasive legs while walking. We each had our crab at the feast, which was superb. In the Niagara prefecture's famous niagara rice was delicious, springy, and succulent! Without a doubt, the breakfast buffet is among the greatest I have ever eaten in Japan. The price was most affordable.

This one of the newer and more substantial hotels on sad. It is quite touristy and hardly intimate, but they know their business and we passed a pleasant night. The room was comfy, clean and spacious here, you are served your evening meal in your room. The set menu meals were tasty but no better than the cheaper azumi hotel. The hotel is on substantial grounds away from the road, so the place was quiet at night. A traditional dance performance was performed in the foyer the night we stayed, which was a nice free addition.

I stayed for 2 nights as part of a group to visit sad. The facility is old and worn. The hallway carpets and wallpaper in the rooms have stains. There are minimal facilities and conveniences. A small gift shop. For all meals, the restaurant on the ground floor is very busy. Breakfast is very busy as the hotel caters to tour business. There are 5 other groups staying at the same time. Only western food were croissants, white bread, and wieners. Definitely past it's prime.
