The location is nice. Its only a short walk from the train station. The owner is very friendly and has tamara, his cat. Comfortable room and spacious bathroom.

This place is a great choice for tourists who are traveling alone, like me, because it offers excellent value for money. The location is convenient, and you can stroll to many wellknown attractions. A traditional japanesestyle room that is cozy, spotless, clean, etc. Townhouse meow is also quite adorable!.

The facilities are only passable. On midnight, the water heater abruptly stops working. A traditional japanese house. Not far from the station but only a 10minute walk to ninenzaka.

Its sin to complain about anything at such a price. Excellent for an overnight stay. Situated close to the historic, picturesque area of Gion, surrounded by dozens of shops, and occupying ion street, which has many stores. The manager is incredibly kind, providing clear instructions on everything and directions.

This place is highly recommended. Very nice and clean guesthouse in gion, a beautiful part of town. Close to the river, restaurants and supermarkets. The room is spacious enough and the futon and mattresses are very comfortable. Host is very friendly and helpful. Provides good information about what to see and do. There is utensils and crockery.

I will return. It was my first time staying alone, but i could sense the owners kindness, the atmosphere where ive been able to talk to him whenever a problem was going on, and his affection for his cat, tama chan.

I spent two nights there, and the owner is really pleasant. There is a communal toilet and utensils in the japanese style. A good price for those who want to stay in taikanesese rooms. If youre lucky, you may see two cats walking around the common area (which should be the owners pets.

I spent three days and two nights at the Kiraku inn, where i had a really pleasant stay. When he arrived an hour early than the stated checkin time, the owner was incredibly welcoming. He assisted us carry our heavy luggage upstairs and brought us refreshing iced tea. We cherished the location of the stay and its value. The property was also wellmaintained, with beautiful maples covering the front of each inN. And the proprietor was quite sweet.

The location is 2 minutes walk from several famous locations in the city of gion. You can easily go out and explore when there are no other tourists around. Bus stop is also 2 min walk away. The owner is very helpful and kind! He took us to the neighborhood onsen, let us borrow bus tickets, and brought tea when we arrived. Space isnt the cleanest (some flying bugs and towels shed quite a bit, but overall the space is spacious and comfortable. He has beautiful, carefully grown maple plants in front and he has incredibly cute cats named Tama!.

This guesthouse in the gion neighborhood was a fantastic place to stay. The owner is quite kind and accommodating, and he also speaks some english. He provided us with several recommendations for nearby restaurants, which we used twice. Excellent central location, within walking distance from the river, yasaka shrine, subway, or train stations. Bonus cat!.
