Our family of five stayed at Marina for four days of skiing and absolutely loved it. The accommodation was exactly what we were looking for clean, delicious food, and amenities, but most importantly it felt home. The common lounge and bar were a great place to have a drink after a long day or a delicious breakfast before heading out. Matt and his wife did a great job creating a family atmosphere. The village is perfect, very local with fantastic restaurants and of course the skiing was the best. Thank you for a fantastic experience. We wish we could have stayed longer.

This place is very important for us because we can find many other people here. You will get a very clean room here. We would like to express our gratitude to the manager, Matt. The place is close to the main lift, Kako, and in a quick way. The staff was really excellent, warm, and helpful. This place has a cozy, laid-back atmosphere and you have the chance to connect with other people. It is close to the hamlet, and the nearest lift is close by. The room is spacious by Japanese standards. Plus, we also need a car to go to the main lifts, such as the Kako lift. And don't forget the traditional Japanese bath with a view of the back. It was a good stay in a non-hotel atmosphere. I would like to emphasize how thorough everything is, according to our opinion, cleanliness. There are no empty bins in the room or quick bathroom cleaning for five days. However, the breakfast menu is very extensive and has a buffet concept. It is best if it's buffet.

Overall, our stay was excellent, and we would love to return in a better year despite the terrible snow. We stayed with friends for 10 nights. Our first visit to Japan and the Yoko region. Matt and Jen were incredibly polite and efficient as were all of the employees. They were always pleased to take us to a restaurant across the street. The room was clean and cozy, and we utilized the elevator downstairs, which was wonderful for sore muscles, despite having an assurance. Every day, breakfast was provided, and there was plenty to choose from. After skiing, the elevator next to reception was exceptionally fast and efficient. Every day at 46 pm, a happy hour was a great time to relax in the lounge area and have a beer.

I would stay again? Yes. My wife and I spent six nights at the marino lodge. This was our second trip to Sakura and the first japanese winter vacation of this season. We arrived late and were greeted by sarah who appeared to have waited up for us and given us a quick guided tour. Reception normally closes in the late evenings. The lodge is conveniently located about halfway between kako and Sakura village and just down the hill from the Sakura onset chair lift yodel information office. This means it is easy to walk to the lifts and the villages shops and restaurants. The lodge is somewhat old, and some areas need some tac. The main sign outside has missing panels, which I assume based on online photos, has been like this for a while, and the name above the door says new fuji, which stumped our driver who drove up to the hotel, decided this wasnt the hotel we were looking for and pulled away. He changed his mind 5 minutes later and took us back. The hotel has a nicesized drying room in the basement and a smaller separate room for boards and skis on the ground floor. The rooms are slightly smaller than expected but better for Japan but smaller than we expected. However, the drinks are scarce and the buffet is scarce. I would have really appreciated something slightly better,

For eight nights, apologies for my late review. The lodge is magnificent, welcoming, and wellorganized. The dry room and common areas have plenty of space. Our western suite was incredibly roomy and had a lovely view of the surrounding snowy trees. The room was warm and tidy, with Japanese touches throughout, as well as plenty of hanging and storage space. After the almost too hot, chilly local ones we experienced in Nozawa, it was a plus. The private ones are spacious, spotless, and pleasant. We adored the lounge area for the apresski drink and the conversation with the fascinating and diverse mix of international and local visitors gathered there at the conclusion of another amazing day ever. There were many stories told. Since we enjoy traveling, we have met some fantastic people. Breaky was excellent and had a wide variety of options. For those who desired to remain in, evening themed meals were available. The common area had a variety of teas and coffee throughout the day, which includes an amazing, freshly baked sweet treat. In conclusion, matt, his lovely wife, and all of the crew. This is what sets Marino Lodge unique and distinctive. The lodges savored smile, helpful personality, and ardent desire to ensure that visitors have the best experience at marino lodge is exceptional. That is reflected in the large number of customers. Thanks once
