This was my first time visiting fukuoka and hakata, it is a less busy area compared to tokyo and osaka. Around hakata station, there are many hotels available, you will need to walk tad past neko and turn into idylland to see nest on the right. There are several exits from hanatan station to the hotel, but if you want to take the main road, ive found that the best route is still to use the major road. I stayed at nest for four nights, sometimes going back to hotel late at night even though its an alley and the street lamps are really not bright, yet despite the fact that it has fewer lights and there is usually people smoking there. The hotel lobby offers the minimum amenities, brushes, bath towel, cotton buds, etc. Simple and delicious buffet breakfast restaurant in the lobby, with limited variety and no seating space. Hakatawa station is an excellent place to stay because there were many shops around the station and many lodging options, however, for the price, nest is definitely suited for staying there as there werent many options and they didnt have much seating. I stayed for 4 days in total. The breakfast was served as a standard western buffet with some japanese options, but not many choices but fair. But it served the same thing every day so if you are eatie staying for more than 2 days like me, you will probably be bored. I especially appreciated the little idea of having prepaid cards ready for all guests. Single travelers would love the idea to hold their seats. Staff are nice and speak good english. Room was tidy and neat. You get your toothbrush set at the entrance - it would be nice unless toothpaste could be provided separately so we dont have to sacrifice the toothbrush to get sanitary paste.

The hotel is conveniently located near the subway station and hakata. There are numerous soda machines, lawson, and seven convenience stores nearby. It is ideal for individuals traveling alone, couples, or families. The hotels personnel have a positive attitude toward providing service. However, there is lingering odor from use of the bathroom, which is somewhat strong. Closing the door will not affect the outside air.

This hotel offers excellent value for the price paid. It is conveniently located 400 meters from jr hakata. The room is spacious but welldecorated and suitable for travelers. There are adequate amenities in the bathroom, which is decent. Staff members speak english fluently.

The location is a bit far from hakata station but within walking distance, probably 3400 yards. Close to convenience store. The room is comfortable despite its small size. Checkin is faster than many hotels. What i love about this hotel is the pillows. Three size of pillows and air conditioning should have. I will stay here next time.
