Overall, it was a really pleasant and comfortable stay. My husband stayed at the hotel while on a business trip to Japan because it is close to trains, taxis, and buses so it's easy to take transportation into a nearby province where the meeting place is located. Excellent hotel wifi. I enjoyed Netflix on my tab because the hotel only featured Japanese channels. However, I particularly liked the fact that we were given a room overlooking a lovely region of the calm city and stunning views of the mountain ranges from a distance. Beautiful! Although the bed is too soft, the furnishings are outdated, and the wallpaper and carpets may be reupholstered. The daily housekeeping service was excellent, and there was ample toiletries available. Service is to be expected of a tiny Japanese town, primarily Japanese-speaking, but they tried to attend to our requirements and requests.
