Sauna & Capsule Hotel Rumor Plaza

As of 1 March 2026, changed local tax regulations require guests to pay accommodation tax at updated rates, which will be collected separately by the property during the check-in process. The tax is determined by the room rate and is charged per person, per night, as follows: 

【Accommodation tax through 28 February 2026】  
For room rates less than JPY 20,000: JPY 200   
For room rates from JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 500   
For room rates of JPY 50,000 or more: JPY 1,000  

【Accommodation tax from 1 March 2026, onwards】  
For room rates less than JPY 6,000: JPY 200   
For room rates from JPY 6,000 to less than JPY 20,000: JPY 400  
For room rates from JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 1,000   
For room rates from JPY 50,000 to less than JPY 100,000: JPY 4,000 
For room rates of JPY 100,000 or more: JPY 10,000   

For the purposes of the accommodation tax, the term “accommodation fee” will refer to the room-only rate, excluding any meal charges and consumption tax.  
Please settle the payment at the hotel upon check-in.
Customers with tattoos are not allowed to use the sauna and bathhouse. *The shower booths on the capsule floor are available for guests with tattoos.
In addition, guests are required to cover their tattoos in public areas such as restaurants.

Additional charges will be incurred after the check-out time of 12:00 PM.
*This is not an extension of stay. Please pay the fee and leave the building promptly.
Kyoto City Accommodation Tax will be charged separately at check-in. *Our accommodation price is 200 yen per night.
The property does not allow anyone with tattoos to use the spa sauna. (In case, we will direct you to the shower booth in the 3rd floor capsule area.)
Tattoos may only be covered while in the restaurant and common areas.
Guests with tattoos that cannot be hidden with clothing will not be allowed to stay.
The property does not allow food or drinks to be brought into the facility.
