Really great hotel with an amazing location. The bathroom was great with amazing shower facilities. Only downside is the lack of storage. There wasn’t a closet so the room felt messy fairly quickly. But other than that, a great hotel with really nice staff.

Our stay at Tsugu Hotels was awesome. The room was just as advertised in the photos; clean, modern, & simple but has everything you need! They provide kitchen amenities, laundry machines, and slippers + robes in room. The rooms also have mini fridges which is perfect for all the little snacks you might come home with. The staff are SO kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, super close to Nishiki Market and all the shopping. The hotel is also attached to a super cute cafe. Overall such a great stay, highly recommend!

小規模のホテルですが必要なものは全て揃っており、シンプルですが中に階段があるユニークな内装はとても落ち着ける空間でした。　スタッフの方の対応も素晴らしくロケーションもとてもよい場所ですので必ずリピートしたいと思います。　唯一、棚のようなものがない為、収納が少し不便なので吊るしタイプでよいので洋服を置けるような棚があると完璧だと思いました。　ご検討お願いします。

We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children staying in the Moderate Large room. There was space for 4 beds that were futon style set up on a platform but no seating area. There was limited space for luggage storage which is typical of a Japanese hotel room. The washroom was spacious, clean and modern. There was a bathtub as well as a shower. The room was quiet and we did not hear much of the hallway traffic nor the outdoor traffic. The staff were always polite and helpful. The fourth floor contained a lounge, vending machine and kitchen area for all hotel guests to use. Amenities and pajamas were self-service. The hotel was perfectly located and right in the middle of everywhere we needed to go. The hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood that felt safe even in the middle of the night. Family Mart and Paul bakery is a 4 min walk away. It is a 8-10 minute walk to the main subway lines. Nishiki market was very close by as is the Teramachi-dori , which is a major shopping street for locals. Tonnes of restaurants to choose from all within a 10-15 min walk. Overall a great experience staying at Tsugu Kyoto Sanjo. Highly recommended!

Very spacious room, friendly staff, great lounge. They provide you with 2 carafes in the room that you can fill in the 4th floor lounge. We used the lounge frequently and it was a great gathering space. Saw many people using it to enjoy a meal at the long table. There is cutlery, plates, bowls, microwave. The hotel has 2 laundry machines. Very popular so we used the ones next door instead. The location of the property is amazing, so many stores and restaurants directly outside and convenient short walk to many things. It really made it easy for us.
