We had a wonderful stay, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and professional. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall ambiance was peaceful. We especially appreciated the small details and hospitality that made our visit special. Would happily return and recommend to others.

A great place for a couple of days staycation. The personell was amazing. Fantastic food, specially the breakfast. An old mansion turned in to a hotel as I understand. It is not super modern and has a bit of wear and tear but for me it is part of the charm. Very calm surroundings. Maybe not for the traveller that is looking for an action filled adventure. For me, that wanted a couple of lazy days, away from "it all", this was perfect.

Great stay, if you want to stay north of Nairobi. Place has a unique colonial character, service is more reflective of times gone by. Food was great and well priced. Property is geared towards big events hosting so felt empty on many days and then suddenly full. Overall enjoyed it as a great sleeping pad for our north of Nairobi trips like hells gate national park, ziplining and ol pejete trips. Grounds were pretty, so you can enjoy a day or two in the property itself.

It is a magical place. Old mansion turned to a boutique hotel. The staff including the manager Mr. Peterson are wonderful and friendly. The property is stunning and the rooms are extremely large. Great place to stay if you are on your way to Masai Mara.

This was a gorgeous private mansion which was converted to a extremely comfortable suites. The square footage of a presidential suite must have exceeded >2,000. The staff are extremely friendly. With a very reasonable price, plus free breakfast from it's own restaurant, this is one of the "best buy." The location is a bit far from downtown Nairobi(20 min taxi drive), in the middle of nowhere. Therefore, there is no worry about terrorist attack.

Big rooms. Great bathrooms. Nice furnishings. Good meals. Nice chef. Pleasant and helpful hotel staff. Location is away from the city so it is a good place to get away and relax. The weather can be a bit cool though. It would be better if the gym was accessible for 24hrs (its open from 7am to 6pm)

Eines der schönsten Hotels in dem wir je waren. Es ist in sehr guten Zustand und die Zimmer sind sehr gross! Das Personal ist extrem aufmerksam, nett und zurückhaltend. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet! Es ist ca. 30 Minuten Fahrzeit (ohne Stau) vom Zentrum entfernt. Eine Taxifahrt ins Zentrum kostet zwischen 2000 - 4000 kSh. Es fahren jedoch viele Matatus direkt vor dem Hotel (Fahrpreis pro Person 80 kSh). Wir würden dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen und können es sehr empfehlen!

The garden was green as i have always wanted, It was quiet, fresh air, The Penthouse was a total surprise i loved it. Thank you Joan/Caroline/Tabitha for the hospitality we had a great time. Breakfast was fantastic.

This 14 or 16 rooms mansion is not really an Hotel. It is a Palace!!! I was not sure if I chose the right place because it is a little far from downtown Nairobi but once I check in I did not feel like leaving the place. The décor is superb, the room extremely large, the Restaurant elegant and excellent cuisine and the staff going out of their way to make my stay pleasant. The Hotel have few semi-private living rooms and I stay in one of them for few hours doing some computer work. Every 20 minutes one of the servers was checking if I needed more coffee or anything else. They took care of every detail. I will definitely recommended to my friends and I will rate it as a 5 Diamond. It is the perfect place to rest after a safari on your way home.

This hotel is outstanding and one of the best I have ever stayed in. I cannot believe that it is as inexpensive as it is. The Staff and Management are to be congratulated. Outstanding facilities and the food in the restaurant was very very good and excellent value. The only problem for booking is that the map location on Hotels.vcom is incorrect. The hotel is further from the centre of Nairobi than indicated and is a 15 minute taxi ride further into the countryside. That said a taxi is only 8 USD each way from the indicated location.

Weltklasse Boutique Hotel im Kolonialstil mit exzellentem Service, wunderschönen Suiten mit allem Komfort und superbem Frühstück. Ein wenig außerhalb von Nairobi (20km), dafür aber ein klasse Preis - Leistungs Verhältnis und in schöner Umgebung. Gutes Abendessen (gegen Aufpreis), besser und sogar günstiger als in den sogenannten Top Restaurants von Nairobi. Hotel ist auch empfehlenswert für Familien mit Kindern (sehr kinderfreundlich).

This hotel has everything you could want in African elegance. It is beautiful. The dining was very good also, but the best thing this hotel has going for it are the wonderful, friendly employees there. I hoped they are well cared for because they are the true foundation of this place. From the moment we arrived, every single employee greeted us with kindness and prompt attention. It made the stay there amazing. The only draw back could be the location depending on why you're there. It is quite a drive to downtown Nairobi, but that also makes it a quiet oasis for rest. I would highly recommend this hotel.
