I love the openness of the lobby to the outside. very relaxing and inviting. The breakfast definitely caters to the middle east and south east Asia cuisine. The views are great. You will have to travel to another town to use beach Lots to see locally.

Dayang Bay Resort exceeded my expectations! I requested a high-floor sea view room, and to my delight, they upgraded me to a stunning room on level 6 with a breathtaking view of Maha Tower. The view was truly unforgettable. The staff's excellent service made my stay even more enjoyable. Pro tip for future guests: If you can, aim for a sea view room on the sixth floor. It makes a huge difference!

Stay was pleasent, hotel service and staff support, room condition, swimming pool were good. Location wise, it's in middle of attractions (which means need 20-30 mins taxi to go to airport , cenang beach, mangrove tour point, skybridge etc) , but having enough shopping, food options near by walking as well. Overall great experience.

I highly enjoyed my stay at Dayang Bay Resort. The location is quite convenient as there is a 7-11, a minimart, places to eat just opposite of the resort. There was gym, a daycare, and spa on the resort itself which me and family enoyed. The room was spacious enough for us. However, there were some stains on the towels and toilet but we weren't too bothered by it as the rest of the room was very clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would recommend this resort.

A heritage tax will be applicable to stays in the city of Langkawi, payable directly to the property.
All foreigner guests must have a valid passport at least 6 months before the expiry date and it must be presented upon check-in, or payment at the hotel.
The swimming pool will be going through routine maintenance once a week, dates are subject to hotels schedule. No mineral water is provided and alcohol is not sold at the hotel.

[Now - 31 December 2024] Following the Municipal Council of Langkawi regulations, the room rate per night will be subject to a heritage fee of 1 MYR for 1 and 2-star hotels, 3 MYR for 3 and 4-star hotels, and 5 MYR for 5-star hotels and will be paid upon check-in.

Effective January 1, 2025, the Municipal Council of Langkawi will impose a Heritage Fee of MYR 1-10 per room per night. This tax applies to all 0 to 5-star hotels and must be paid upon check-in. During special events, such as the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) Exhibition, Le Tour de Langkawi, Ironman Langkawi, and Oceanman Langkawi, the Heritage Fee will increase to MYR 2-20 per room per night.

NOTE: From September 1st, 2017, as per Government of Malaysia requirements, hotel guests who are not Malaysian citizens or long-term/permanent residents of Malaysia will be levied a tourism tax of RM 10.00 per room per night stay.
