Effective January 1, 2025, the Malacca City Council will impose a Heritage Tax of MYR 3-5 per room per night. This tax applies to all types of accommodations, including but not limited to 0 to 5-star hotels, hotel apartments, motels, inns, homestays, villas, and resorts.
