The staff is very helpful, and check-in is quite fast. The second floor of the Liwagu Suite is really clean and has been renovated better than any other cabin within the park, which the other cabins are in, which are dated. I like the design of the double story attic. I love the size of the room, it's huge for the two of us, and I like the balcony with a sofa bed, you can enjoy the nature forest view from that balcony. I really enjoy my time here! There are various supplies, such as a kettle, iron, board, hairdryer, and other amenities provided. They even require a toilet for the upstairs room.

We reserved the Liwagu suite on the recommendation of friends and great borneo excursions. After that, they did nothing when we arrived, no one at the desk and no information. Despite having the cupboards above the bedroom and the comfortable public seating, the sofas and cushions in the shower below were designed to look good but were too quiet to be comfortable. The main living rooms in the hotel are spacious, light, and airy with views of the forest. The restaurant serves a wide selection with a wide variety of food for all tastes. Yet strangely, we were told by national parks that we were supposed to have breakfast in the canteen, which was quite a long way from the hotel despite the booking being made by a tour company and breakfast being included in the cost. We remained put and had to pay again because it was raining and not just inconvenient. To be honest, despite how ideal it is in terms of location and the public seating areas are pleasant, one would not say that one gets value for the money.

I highly recommend this place. Our reservation to the liwagu suite was made on the recommendation of friends and through wonderfulborneo tours. The latter made a serious reservation and got paid, but they didn't follow up. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived, and nothing was done. The suite itself was comparatively expensive and clearly designed by an architect who had never stayed in one. The bedroom is upstairs with cupboards, but the shower is downstairs with sofas and cushions that appear good but are too obtrusive to be comfortable. The main living rooms of the hotel are roomy, bright, and airy with views of the forest. The restaurant serves a variety of different food options. Oddly, despite the booking made by a tour company and breakfast included in the price, the national parks told us we were supposed to eat breakfast in the canteen, which is quite a distance from the hotel. This was not only uncomfortable, but it was pouring rain, so we stayed there and had to pay again. And while the liwagu suites are very convenient and the public seating areas are cozy, I wouldn't say that one gets value for the money.

The best lodging in the Kamanabalu national park if you want to climb the mountain. Simple, clean, and convenient. The accommodation and food are very basic but clean and quiet. The staff is friendly and attentive and there is a secure luggage store for your excess baggage while you climb. If your crazy enough to do the climb this is the best accommodation you can get.
