We left it late to book a hotel in Langkawi and we couldn't get in to any of usual hotels but managed to get a room at the Penarak Bamboo beach resort. When we went in the room it was spacious and very clean but when we opened the back door the view was spectacular. It's a very laid back place, the staff are friendly I ended up booking for another week. It's such a relaxing place, I would definitely go back

The room has an amazing view. The water level usually rises at night and early morning. It keeps changing from day to day. The area is very quiet and serene. There is a laundry nearby. Very close to the kuala lumpur. Good for those coming by ferry. Sea view rooms are usually priced a little bit depending on the season. Cons no shampoo, no cupboards, just one small table square shape with a fridge below wifi has barely any speed. So if you plan to wfh at this hotel, it is not possible. You have to rely on your own data. We can also literally hear people talking on other balconies while they enjoy the view. Also, the area is slightly in a quiet lane but not very long. Maybe a 1-2 minute drive. Conclusion, for such places, as they say, you dont go for the room, you want the view. Great view but average room amenities.

This is a budget hotel close to the jetty, only an 8minute drive and an 8minute drive to the haji ismail shopping complex hotel. This hotel provides all toiletries, hot shower water, high pressure, but only 15 minutes from chenang island.
