Hotel ini terletak di atas bukit tetapi dekat dengan kawasan hutan untuk tujuan wisata alam. Saya mengikuti tur pinggir hutan gratis yang saya ikuti pada pagi hari sungguh sungguh menyenangkan dan bermanfaat. Tur ini memperkenalkan burungburung dan obatobatan alami. Pemandu wisatanya manusia lokal, othman aye memiliki pengalaman bertahuntahun.

Tidak diragukan bahwa ini adalah hotel terbaik yang pernah kami tinggali, dan kami telah menginap di banyak hotel yang sangat indah. Kami diberikan upgrade kamar menjadi villa premium di hutan, pengalaman yang sangat menyenangkan. Vila kami sangat besar dan terawat dengan baik, tidak ada kata lain selain menakjubkan, ruangannya sangat luas dan kamar mandinya sangat besar. Saya meragukan tempat lain memiliki kamar yang hrdnya baik dari ini. Menu sarapan dan makanan secara umum dapat dikategorikan kelas satu dan disajikan dengan indah dan tidak terlalu mahal. Perjalanan kami termasuk perjalanan hutan dengan seorang pemandu dan bahkan istri saya yang tidak begitu suka kehidupan satwa liar sangat terkagum-kagum dengan tempat yang kami tinggal selama beberapa minggu ini. Jika Anda menginap di sini, pastikan untuk mengambil paket perjalanan ini. Saya terus memuji hotel ini tanpa henti, sangat mengesankan untuk semua musim. Harganya tidak murah tetapi sangat sepadan dengan apa yang dibayarkan. Ini adalah pemberhentian pertama kami selama liburan 8 minggu ke Timur Jauh dan Australiaselandia baru, sungguh awal yang indah untuk memulai. Kami akan kembali ke sana jika ada kesempatan.

The Datai adalah surga di bumi, terletak di tengah hutan hijau seluas 195. 002, flora dan fauna menambah pemandangan yang menyenangkan mata. Kehadiran kehidupan liar semakin melengkapi pengalaman menginap dimana kita dapat merasakan udara lembap yang tebal saat berjalan menyusuri hutan hujan untuk menuju pantai, dimana suasana damai begitu terasa. Airnya yang tenang dan bersih sangat indah dan sangat cocok untuk berkayak atau berenang. 2 Kolam renangnya cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan para tamu yang tidak ingin berenang di air asin. Barnya memiliki koktil yang sempurna dipadukan dengan makanan ringan yang lezat. Pelayanannya sangat baik dan stafnya sigap dan hangat saat mendengarkan setiap keluhan kita. Terakhir, kamarnya luas dan nyaman, membuat Anda enggan beranjak keluar jika sudah masuk ke dalamnya, perawatan ekstra yang dilakukan para staff selama housekeeping membuat para tamu dapat tidur dengan nyaman dan nyenyak. Sebuah tempat dimana privasi dan ketenangan dijadikan prioritas utama.

Staff were amazing and friendly, their only pool is only for adults and the monkeys pinched my pina colada. It's a trip of a lifetime and nothing is too much trouble. They even iron the tablecloth in the fine dining restaurant!

Since our last visit, 14 years have passed, and we are back with our two kids. All that makes this location so magical and addictive continues to be in place, with subtle and sensible modifications having occurred since our most recent visit. Our children liked the activities offered to them. They thoroughly enjoyed learning about the rainforest, its wildlife, sustainability, and recycling, and kept asking for more. The food is of an outstanding standard, and their wine selection is outstanding. This trip was delayed three years due to couid, and unfortunately, my parents did not arrive on time as originally planned, but aside from this disappointment, it was an almost ideal trip. We will most certainly go back. My children were both extremely sad to have left, which, I think, explains it all!.

[Now - 31 December 2024] Following the Municipal Council of Langkawi regulations, the room rate per night will be subject to a heritage fee of 1 MYR for 1 and 2-star hotels, 3 MYR for 3 and 4-star hotels, and 5 MYR for 5-star hotels and will be paid upon check-in.

Effective January 1, 2025, the Municipal Council of Langkawi will impose a Heritage Fee of MYR 1-10 per room per night. This tax applies to all 0 to 5-star hotels and must be paid upon check-in. During special events, such as the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) Exhibition, Le Tour de Langkawi, Ironman Langkawi, and Oceanman Langkawi, the Heritage Fee will increase to MYR 2-20 per room per night.
