Our group of 7 students and faculty from my college had an incredible stay at Kasara Resort in Chitwan National Park. From airport transfers to check-out, everything was smooth and well-organized. The resort was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Rooms were comfortable, and the service throughout our stay was excellent—professional, welcoming, and attentive. The food at the on-site restaurant was a highlight. Each meal was fresh and flavorful, and the servers were courteous and professional, enhancing every dining experience. We also enjoyed two game drives, both of which were outstanding. A special thank you to our dedicated naturalist, Sujan. His knowledge of the flora and fauna of Nepal was impressive, and he took time to educate and inspire our entire group. He made the wildlife experience truly memorable. The resort staff even helped us check in and secure boarding passes at the airport—just one more example of their incredible service. Kasara exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chitwan, especially academic or student groups.

I had a good time at the Sara. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, especially Baburam Dai, he is such a sweet and beautiful person. The amenities were good. The room was excellent, clean and ideal for nature lovers. And of course, the time I spent in the pool will always be treasured. Thank you very much

We stayed here for two nights. The report was very impressive, the staff was very helpful. The pool is good. The food is delicious and full to the chef Shiva. The only observation deck is a lack of view of nature and wildlife. I recommend this hotel to people who visit this place.

It is very lovely with nice rooms. Also, in close proximity to the national park. The staff was very friendly and greeted us well. They helped us arrange everything and provided all information and all reservation information before we arrived. I am very happy with the service. Thank you to everyone.

This review is challenging because I wanted to be as positive as possible because there are benefits and drawbacks to this resort, mostly negative. I gave this same feedback to the tour operator who booked this resort and suggested that it not be recommended or included on their upcoming Nepal tours. Here are the drawbacks restaurant and some hotel staff tried to be helpful. The hotel grounds and pool area are very nice. Local villagers who present their nightly show do their best to make the transfer from Sara Resort to the airport so stressful and unnecessary. The hotel representative was incredibly unfriendly at check out. For example, I reported an error in the hotel bill in their favour, but no apology was given. The next morning at breakfast, the same front desk agent insisted that we were due for the airport transfer fee. When I asked my tour operator via WhatsApp and showed him the text exchange indicating that the extra airport transfer charge was not warranted, the resort rep persisted and refused. The front desk employee reluctantly agreed upon receipt of the text messages, and I was allowed to begin my morning. After checkout the next afternoon, this same management representative was extremely unfriendly, see comments above, and at our airport transfer time, he informed us that our Jeep would be available and didn't use any hotel staff to assist with our luggage. After walking with my son, we proceeded to the parking lot and placed our luggage on the old truck.

The resort is well situated for enjoying the countryside and accessing the River and Jungle trips. The resort may be 5 start for Nepal, but I would actually give it a 3.5 on US. The staff are spectacular and provided lots of support when our flights were cancelled for 3 days in a row. Note that you are in the jungle and it was the end of the rainy season, but.... be ready for mold in your rooms and in the room air, in the furnishings. My daughter had asthma attacks non-stop. Rooms would benefit from improved air filtration, dehumidifiers and less upholstered furniture or more frequent washing with high heat drying. Note bring your own washcloths. And as everywhere else in Nepal the towels are harsh due to washing in hard water. But again the staff are absolutely darling and the food is acceptable.

The hotel is very far 1 hour by taxi from Sauraha where the national Park is in. So, I chose the jeep safari tour from the hotel which didn't take us to the national Park, instead to the buffer zone only. The tour was good but very expensive.
