A very understated motel; better than the ad left me expecting. Location is absolutely central, parking easy & rooms very comfortable. I’d stay again. Breakfast at the nearby cafe was also great.

I am glad I have made a booking at Lake Tekapo! Its such a great deal! Great location. If you are not looking for a fancy place, and checking out a place right in the center of things and enough to get by then go for this place. The only thing I had a difficult time was bringing the luggage up to the second floor

We got room 8. It had an excellent view of the lake. The motel was walking distance to the Dark Sky Project, which was the main reason for this choice. The motel was warm and had great functionality. Super spacious bathroom which included both a shower and a large spa tub. The bed was heated and comfortable. The kitchenette didn't have a microwave oven, although it looked like it did at one time. The walls/ceiling were a bit thin, so we were conscious of keeping our TV volume down. I think the staff ran the motel, a restaurant, and a tourism (or at least arranged tours) place. They were friendly and were actively working everywhere. I got the impression of ants. lol The restaurant coupon for the breakfast is nextdoor, a 1 minute walk from our room. It's a noodle place mostly, but we enjoyed the breakfast. There was a choice of many dishes. In all, I would return. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable, not to mention the walking locations to the lake, parks, trails, grocery store, restaurants, and general shopping were excellent.

주차는 모텔앞에 바로 위치하여 편함. 일찍 도착하여 체크인 시도하려 했으나 시간안되었다고 하여 2시까지 기다려야 했음. 짐 맡아주고 얼리 체크인 받아줘도 될텐데 굳이 체크인 시간에 맞춰 다시 오라고 한 것은 고객이 불편함을 느꼈음

Unreal location, literally on the doorstep of the dark sky project building. Breakfast included at cafe literally next door. Everything you needed in the room. Balcony was nice to have too, as could try spot some of the stars at night. Person on reception was friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

All was good. This is central to everything. The town was very busy with lots of tourists and things going on. Parking was a problem with us and other guests unloading and trying to find somewhere to park elsewhere in the town. It would appear non-guests were using some of the parking spaces up. The kitchen area was small but there were 2 bed rooms which made it roomy to keep it from getting cluttered. Nice balcony. The place has been well used so maybe a little worn. Great location and atmosphere.

Penthouse was large with plenty of sleeping space. Found it odd that the toilet was in a separate room from the sink. There were no amenities, however there were numerous places to shop and eat less than a minute away.
