What a stunning old heritage boutique hotel. Parking was the only problem as we arrived late, most parks were taken and we have larger vehicles. We arrived after 9 pm, but they were prepared for us and still made us feel welcome. Beautiful sounds that tidy up and you can see that this was once a very old proud hotel. Just needs some love and attention in the gardens again.

Overall, it's a fantastic location to stay. We had a great time at the Devereux. It was tidy, comfortable, and decorated in a lovely oldstyle. Breakfast was satisfactory and served by friendly staff in the cafe with a lovely garden view. The only downside for us was the stairs, as my husband has some balance problems and some noise was audible from nearby rooms, but this wasn't too bad.

This was our second visit to this hotel. We have a deluxe suite with a spa tub. The room is very spacious, the bathroom is a good size, and there are lots of windows to open for a nice breeze. Very comfortable, something different from a typical hotel. We love it and this is a unique hotel. Will surely come back.
