Hotel Balai Aldlao is located on Lio Beach. Together with other hotels and restaurants, they create a calm and quiet atmosphere on the Lio beach. The rooms are simple but have everything you need. Buffet breakfast. Beautiful and clean beach. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from El Nido Airport as well as to the city center. This is the perfect location to relax from the crowded and noisy El nido.

We went in January 2020. The hotel is located in a kind of gated community where there is a beautiful beach, other hotels, bars, shops, restaurants. The hotel is comfortable and clean, the staff pleasant, the breakfast good. The bad thing is that it does not have a pool (if that is what you expect) and that the rooms do not have a minibar, so if you want to keep an ice cold drink, it is not possible.

I’ve really enjoyed my stay here at Balai Adlao. Friendly staff, good breakfast food, very comfortable bed and cozy room. It is also very near the beach and the different shops and restaurants in Lio Beach. I will surely come back to Lio Beach and stay here again.

I stayed at Balai Adlao a few days ago for a week. First off, the staff was super friendly and very accomodating. The rooms are on the small side though the design is Filipiniana chic; the essentials are present, and the comfort level is excellent. Breakfast was a welcome addition as none of the restaurants in Lio beach were open early. Lio Beach itself is amazing, probably the nicest stip of beach in El Nido with the all the features that they have. Not your budget setting though, and about 5 miles from El Nido town. Which was ok with me because El Nido Town was not my scene - a younger, more budget conscious crowd stay there, think hostels, backpackers, parties, and Ibiza (same crowd). There's a shuttle that goes to town if you have boat trips and picks you up later in the day. There's restaurants and bars that line the beach, a nice spa, travel agencies, shops, a convenience/drug store, and other fun stuff that line the frontage of the beach. The beach is long and nice, sunbathing was awesome. Lio is also about 20 minutes by scooter to Nacpan - a nice long beach with fewer developments and is also nice to check out. I highly recommend this hotel, along with the other hotels in Lio Beach which are all kinda different depending on the purpose of your trip. Balai Adlao is perfect for couples and honeymooners, there's other hotels meant for backpackers, and another one tuned for families with multiple room suites. I hope you have a great trip to El Nido!

We spent 4 nights at this hotel and were satisfied with the accommodation considering we were out all day and not looking for a resort style hotel. It is a small hotel on the Lio beach estate. The room design and the room itself is simple yet fresh and clean. Towels are luxurious and smell lovely. The room does not have a fridge. Unfortunately, there seems to be a sewerage problem on the estate and the smell impacted our rooms, we asked to be moved and the staff were very accommodating. AJ, the room attendant, went out of his way to make the move easy and painless. He is a real asset to the hotel. Breakfast options are limited but sufficient, it includes staples plus eggs made to order and good coffee. There are a few restaurants on Lio beach estate which means you don't have to leave the estate for dinner. The estate itself is out of town so you need a tricycle to get into El Nido which costs PHP 300 for 2 people. There is a shuttle which we unsuccessfully attempted to use on 3 occasions. The first time, from Lio beach, was unsuccessful as there were too many people and twice we waited (around 45 minutes) for the 5pm shuttle from El Nido but the shuttle never arrived. As we were a family of 4 each journey to and from El Nido cost us php 600.
