Our stay at Coconut Garden Resort was unforgettable! Nestled on the beautiful Cagnipa Island, it felt like our own private paradise. Although the forecast predicted rain, we were lucky to enjoy two full days of sunshine—perfect for exploring and relaxing. The house reef just off the beach was a highlight—amazing snorkeling right at our doorstep! The resort's menu and food exceeded our expectations—fresh, flavorful, and with great variety. Every meal felt like a treat. The staff were fantastic—welcoming, attentive, and always ready with a smile. And we absolutely loved the resort dogs, Momo and Toytoy—sweet, friendly companions who made the experience feel even more homey. The boat shuttle to and from Port Barton was scenic and smooth, adding to the adventure. For most of our stay, we had the whole island to ourselves, which made it incredibly peaceful and special. A group of about 15 guests arrived after we left, so we really got to enjoy that serene, castaway vibe. If you're looking for a unique, off-the-beaten-path island experience with great hospitality and natural beauty, Coconut Garden Resort is the perfect escape. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Perfektes Resort: Freundlich, ruhig, Strand und Meer sind sauber, gutes Essen. Für Leute, die entspannt Ausruhen möchten. Sehr schön angelegter Garten mit Hängematten etc. Gute Preise. Bungalow schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Complete peace and quiet on a private beach. Total relaxation away from civilization. The only thing I missed was a larger selection of dishes and more fresh seafood/fish on the menu.

I highly recommend island hopping through the resort with a private boat! We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. Beautiful island with a really beautiful beach just outside the resort. Relaxing and just perfect. The rooms are really clean and you wake up to the sound of waves and birds singing.

All in all, this was a very memorable and exceptional location for those looking for something a little off the grid. Reduce your jet lag and unwind in this rustic, soothing, and absolutely yours. Bungalows with beach and ocean views from your terrace, pleasant staff jem and sandra! And fantastic food for being on a remote island. The bungalow rooms are sparsely decorated with a solarpowered fan, the island has only cold water and runs on a generator, so charging mobile devices and using wifi can only occur at certain times of the day, so this is not your place if that is a dealbreaker. When can you say you had almost an island to yourself? Put your phone down, chat with the guests at the next table, and enjoy the moment! Everything we had was surprisingly delicious pork medallions I curry, pineapple and rice sweet and sour chips I mushroom cream sauce and roti potatoes Breakfast and lunches were also great. There are several hammocks and beach chairs, but never more than 10 people on the beach. Around the beautifully lush grounds, there are dartboards, pingpong tables, board games, rental kayaks, and several charming sitting spaces. Also, a hiking trail leads you into the jungle and up and around the resort. The bungalows have mosquito nets around the beds, but we never encountered one mosquito during our

It's not the ideal location for you if you want a resort lifestyle and service. But if you want peace and quiet, a simple lifestyle, and a lovely beach right outside, I strongly recommend this location. Our cabin was simple but a bit worn out. The bathroom could use a refreshment. But we found the cabin to be ideal for sleeping, which is basically what you need. The beach is beautiful. Beautiful, clear blue water with snorkeling options. It is not the best place to snorkel, the water is a little rough and there are rocks, but you can borrow a life jacket. The food was fine. The word simple comes to mind again. Improvement suggestions: A table at the cabinbalcony where you may play cards and games. The cabin 11 wooden beach furniture could use a address because it is difficult to lay on more seafood and fish for dinner.

If you don't mind being disconnected from the web or cell signal for a few days, this place is for you. I got lucky the first day while snorkeling, I saw a turtle! There are also quite a few fish, mostly dead coral. The owners are a retired Swiss gentleman and Filipina wife. The staff is excellent, as is the lovely garden. After two nights, I got bored there, so I moved to Port Barton because I needed internet access. The food was excellent. For urgent reservations of hotels and flights, they only allow you to use their wifi for 30 minutes per stay. I was the only visitor at the time, but they appear to be fully booked during peak season. They upgraded me to a luxury room without a fan and no air conditioning. Due to the heat and humidity, it was difficult for me to sleep at night. Be cautious of sand flies and always apply coconut oil generously throughout your body. They seem to bite even through the rashguard while you are swimming.

The place is great because it has air conditioning and electricity for all day. Only the sound of birds, not too big wave, and passing boats. Cold beer, fresh sea food, and helpful owners.

Very pleasant indeed , beautiful scenery and peaceful. Make sure you bring insect repellant and I dont advise kayaking around the the next bay north. The second we set foot on the sand an extraordinarily obnoxious and aggressive man / campsite owner said he would set his Rottweilers on us which kind of put the dampers on the day.

Absolutely beautiful place to spend a couple of days. Some staff were lovely others downright rude. Menu extensive, but as it seems like every where on Palawan half of it is not available and what is available is mediocre and poor value. It’s impossible to communicate with this place before you get there so if you want to know anything ask weeks in advance and you might get an answer. Glad I visited but probably wouldn’t again.

Pleasant stay at Coconut Garden island resort. The only problem is that you have to pay for everything, the rooms are old and it's clear that the owner's only aim is to make money and nothing else.
