They have a cheap rate and if you make your reservation directly with them, they will set your room up in the main building, which is a stone's throw from the beach. Because we reserved with Pava, they gave us a ground-floor apartment in their annex building, which is a little walk from the main building. Very good location and adequate room for the price.

We visited Borocay last year. The hotel appears decent and wellkept. We reserved a room for 6 people and were given a room near the reception area. It was a little overpriced. I am aware that everything is expensive in Borocay, but I can guarantee you that youll be able to find better hotels for the same price.

I recommend avoid staying in expensive resorts and hotels if you visit Borocay. You should save money by staying in a very affordable yet very good hotel, such as taj guesthouse, and the good thing is that it is just a few meters from the beach for a price slightly over php 1,00 is a very good deal. I have visited Borocay several times before and this is what I do. By doing so, I can save more money and try out more food and different activities. My advice is to book online or call them at mobile 63 917 637 2030 phone 63 36 288 4628 they accept reservations. Book ahead as it is generally full, particularly during peak seasons.

I booked this hotel for 3 nights. I can tell you that it's worth the price due to its proximity to the beach and its small size. The staff is dead, so we don't care so long as our luggage is safe when we go out.

Staying at this guesthouse is my only choice if visiting Bocay. If you are traveling alone, with your family, or with friends for a long time, this guesthouse offers a very low cost. The beachfront and all the restaurants are close by. It is well worth the price for solo, family, or group travelers. The slow wifi connection is the weak point for me about taj. Anyway, if you have white sand and a lovely beach right in front of you, who needs internet?.

Staff were lovey & location was amazing. Room needed some improvement - 3/5 lights were broken. Only had one tiny window. Photos of what look to be a common chill out zone are actually of the spa which they bring people from the beach to, you only have your room to relax in.

Initially, I was put in a room where airconditioned is worst because it is very noisy that I wasn't able to sleep at all. I reported and waited until noon the following day before they decided to transfer me to a different room. After that incident, everything is ok.

디몰과 위치가 매우가까움. 보라카이 늦은도착시 임시숙소로사용하길 권장함. 거미나 벌레는 그렇다치고 주변이 새벽에 시끄러움. 관광객이아닌 현지인들이 대부분으로 시끄러움. 마사지는 리조트숙박객에 한해 할인해줌.

I arrived at the hotel for a late night check in. There were hotel staff who accommodated us during the evening check in. The room was small but clean enough and looks decent for the price I paid. The location was good. They are not exactly in the beach front area for you to have a view but the location was close to D'mall and a restaurant good for cheap eats. Overall the location was good if you are not too picky where to stay. During the entire 3 nights I stayed at Taj, no hotel staff cleaned our room for a daily room service. The courtesy of asking the guest if we need one would be enough but there was none at all. The sand was all over the room already, so I personally got the broom and cleaned the floor. Overall, the stay was just good enough. I would still recommend the place for budget travelers. The place is not as high end but the good thing is you get what you pay for. Better than other budget hotels nearby for sure.

Waited at reception area for 24minutes as noone was around to assist me at check-in. Called their number 3X no answer. Text msg no reply. Neighboring hotel staff assisted me by calling the receptionist. Took awhile for them to come. Check out same problem. Had to go to their other branch just to leave card key. I moved to a 4star hotel nearby.

I could not fathom whether I would be delighted that the hotel was a very quick walk to the beach front and that it was so close to other establishments (which made it very convenient) or if I would be disappointed because it was difficult to get your room cleaned. They did not clean rooms everyday even when we already requested for it. It took a couple more reminders before they even did sweep the floor. We were expecting them to make the beds but they also did not do so (or maybe they didn't want to touch our stuff). The sockets were limited and since we were a group of four, two sockets are not enough. We asked for an extension cord and they left us with a broken promise.To keep expectations clear, it is typically a room don't expect customer service, you'd have to ask for toilet paper every time you run out because they will not refill them. You'd have to ask them thrice to get them to collect the trash, you'd have to ask for bathroom rugs and new towels again and again because they won't give it to you unless you asked. One of the reception people weren't as friendly, we asked if we could check in earlier, and she answered in a very unconvincing tone...we arrived 2 hours earlier than check in and asked if we could at least take a shower because it was too hot and the travel to the hotel was very dusty and exhausting...she seemed annoyed while answering our questions. There were no complimentary water bottles, or no water dispenser to say the least.
