Hi, read this if this will be your first experience staying in capsule hotel. It was such a great experience for me to stay here (never did I stay in the capsule hotel). If there is another chance to visit SG definitely I'll be staying in Jyu. First of all if you are from changi airport, go down in outram park mrt bcs there is an elevator thou we need to walk quite far to arrive in Jyu. (use citymapper apps to help you decide the best route in SG). Jyu's location is near to many mrt exit door, the best one is chinatown exit A. I like it so much as you are really in the chinatown. Sometimes you will use exit C too, so just follow the guidance from citymapper. What mesmerised me: Jyu is near to many food seller and chinatown food market, along the smith road there are many restaurant. Next to it, you must try the confectionery such as bolo bao, HK milk tart (smells so good when you are passing by that's why I get tempted). In front of you there is hawker centre and it's upsetting me since I didn't have enough time to explore so many traditional food there. And just walk a little bit futher you can go to the small 7/11 in chinatown. There is Indian food resto on the corner of the road, you can try it. Just walk few steps then you are in chinatown food market, it's good to visit there during afternoon so you won't feel hot. Buddha tooth relic temple it's a must too, heritage building with so many historical information about buddhism. Easy to commute everywhere when you stay around chinatown, to maxwell food centre, peoplex's park, hong lim food market, near to marina bay mrt and many more tourist attraction. Let's hear more about Jyu it self. Among those capsule hotels in chinatown, Jyu has more great facilities. There is an elevator! Nevertheless on our first day, it was under maintenance. The staff was very helpful to help me bring it upstairs. Next reason is the building still brand new: sparkling clean and comfy. You go to the first floor then you will see automatic shoe locker. You will see an automatic glass door, just come in on their "mini lobby". It's located in the pantry with a long table to accomodate 10 peoples. Yes, you can use the microwave, 2 mini refri, have a drink, take the free cookies in the pantry. When you want to put something in the refri, don't forget to put label on it bcs they will throw it all away after 1 week. Clean and dry shared bathroom, make up room with great quality dryer, paid laundry machine, ironing table, backpack locker are provided in Jyu. Cannot ask more than this. Actually I made pre book for double upper bed. However when I looked at the room, I changed my decision and requested. Could I get the lower capsule. Luckily they accepted my request and just paid extra 30 sgd. I thought the lower one is nah bcs other people can peek on your capsule. The fact is, it is super safe and easier to go out during night when you want to pee. Don't worry if you are afraid being in a small room, me too the same. But the capsule is really comfy, when we sit in, the ceiling still high for me 158cm. In the capsule you will find a small hole for the cold air, safety box, tv, hanger too. All of the rooms, shoe locker, bag locker, safety box all must be open using your room card key, it's super duper safe. When you want to use the toilet, you can change your room slippers with rubber slippers there. There are 2 shared bathroom in the 1st floor and 2nd floor, each consist of 5 rooms. Usually I use the bathroom around 7am, never did I have to wait because the room is always empty. Shout out to all Indonesians coz we can find bidets here, holy grail! No more worries when you want to poo. Is it loud in the night? In my experience stayed there for 3 nights, not at all, so surprisingly. Except during the 2nd night, someone kept coughing for couple minutes but still we slept like a log. Each of us get 1 bag consists of earplug, slippers, towel, cotton buds so when you want to take a bath just bring it together with you. I am not sure whether we can request to get another new towel or not, just ask the room keeper first if you need it. The room keeper will mop the floor, clean the bathroom around 10am if I am not mistaken, so you will not feel disturbed at all. Please take a note that our own capsule will not get cleaned every day like in the hotel. Jyu has some rooms to accomodate us, I stayed in sheng room, there are around 16 capsules. What I like is the bed position, our body position when we laid down is from the left to right (it is hard to explain but just see it later😁) Sg also popular for the expensive bottled water, I choose Jyu also because they have water dispenser. Grab as many as you can drink and bring your tumbler every where you go. Save your money! Feel hot here? You will not, the ac all over the rooms works really well. They provide the air purifier too in the room. No wonder why Jyu get the best ratings from the visitor!

Lokasinya super strategis di tengah Chinatown, deket dari stasiun MRT/ halte bus. Check in-nya mandiri pake mesin gitu di lantai dasar, nanti baru naik ke atas untuk ke capsule hotelnya. Capsule tempat tidurnya bersih (penting banget!), dengan amenities lengkap. Tinggal bawa diri aja nginep di sini. Disediain tas buat bawa peralatan mandi, lengkap ada handuk, sendal dan toiletries-nya juga. Yang aku suka, di capsule pribadinya ada semacam kotak penyimpanan tambahan buat barang berharga. Area bongkar kopernya juga ga sempit-sempitan (area di depan tempat tidur), trus jendelanya gede jadi banyak pencahayaan alami. Setelah check out, kalau masih mau jalan-jalan dulu juga masih bisa titipin koper dulu di sini. Overall recommended sih nginep di sini!!

Lokasi udah pasti strategis, deket MRT deket halte bus. Kemana2 juga deket karena MRT Chinatown ada 2 jalur, dari Changi stgh jem karena pake jalur mager (downtown line, tanpa perlu pindah line). Hotel capsulnya sendiri termasuk nyaman, solo backpacker friendly karena selain self check-in, ada lift juga! (Biasa hotel capsul minim fasilitas lift. Dari interior ruangan tema china modern minimalist gtu, homie bngt. Ada tempat nongkinya, ada tempat laundry, tempat makeup juga, pantrynya jg bersih. Dikasih bag isinya perlengkapan mandi, tapi harus dibalikin ya, tas ini membantu bnget bawa barang ke kamar mandi bnyk pocketnya. Di dlm kamar juga ada fasilitas locker tapi untuk tas ukuran 20" gak muat ya, jadi ada tempat lain lagi untuk taro koper, di dlm capsule cukup luas ada cabin, jadi kaki gak langsung injek ranjang. Capsul ku single tapi dapet 2 bantal dan itu comfy bngt! Ada mini drawer, meja kerja, tv juga ada, colokannya singapur punya ga disediain universal plug (kemarin diakalin pakai sikat gigi dari mereka, lubangnya pas bngt) di depan juga ada locker shoes. Pokoknya akses pintu lantai, kamar, locker sepatu, locker tas, sama drawer di capsule diakses pakai kartu. (Udah nyobain buka kamar sebelah sama locker orang gak bisa kebuka 😂🤭, intinya aman) minusnya, lebih ke para tamunya aja sih, ada peraturan jem 10 mlm udah waktunya silent, tapi masih pada berisik (kita dikasih ear plug sih). Lalu pas pakai WC suka gak diflush 😭 jadi pilih mandi setelah dibersihin atau sebelum pada jem mandi. Lalu untuk fasilitasnya sendiri, aku kurang suka sama tangga naik ke capsule atas lumayan tajem ujungnya dan tipis itu jadi ceritanya hampir kepeleset karena pake sendal hotel lupa lepas, untungnya gak kenapa2 cuma shock aja 😂 dan langit2 kamar termasuk pendek ya, pernah kejedot. Padahal tinggiku cuma 158, gak kebayang klo bule yg tinggi2 itu gmn 🤭. Overall aku puas nginep sini karena emang suka nyari hotel daerah smith atau pagoda situ biar deket MRTnya. Dari segi harga termasuk murah ya, dengan fasilitas yg didapet.

Excellent location! Checked in and out using their kiosk and it worked flawlessly. Their staff were really friendly and really helpful too! Always there to assist us. The entire hotel environment is kept really clean and tidy! the guest rooms, bathrooms, laundromat, sitting areas... everywhere! And i love the overall design as well. I would love to come back again if i have the chance!

Location is perfect, check in via the kiosk is super easy and fast! Love the overall vibes of the place, the capsule is quiet, clean and spacious. Bathrooms are clean and sufficient too. All the staff were lovely and helpful during my stay! I was also able to store my luggage after check out to grab a quick lunch before leaving. Highly recommended!!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Jyu Capsule Hotel, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of perfect. From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, every aspect of my stay was outstanding. First and foremost, the Jyu Capsule Hotel offered great comfort. The capsules themselves were surprisingly spacious, providing enough room to stretch out and relax. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and I had a restful night's sleep throughout my stay. The beddings were clean and cozy, making my night super comfortable. One of the features of Jyu Capsule Hotel is its cleanliness.
