Management has changed recently. I had a very comfortable stay in a single room. The guest house is homely and had everything I needed. Television with a variety of channels and a small fridge in the room, and a private “wet” bathroom. Location is excellent with plenty of restaurants nearby.

I booked this based on the incredibly positive reviews left for the homely nature of this guesthouse. However there has been a recent change in management which seems to have affected the quality of the stay slightly. Firstly the advertised breakfast was not as advertised. The pictures showed a variety of food items but on the first day that we went there was no food at all and following on from that only instant coffee and white bread and jam were provided. Secondly our room was not cleaned for 4 days, and we didn't feel it was necessary to contact the host to ask for this, it should be provided as standard. On a positive note hairdryer and iron were provided without asking and plenty of towels too. Aircon worked very well too. The hosts themselves weren't great at keeping in touch but were nice enough. All in all a decent place to stay but very basic now and the previous positive reviews are not really indicative of the current state of affairs. Sorry to say.

I visited this guesthouse with my friend and her 2 sons. We had a very warm welcome from Jo and she was always very accommodating should we need anything. There is a breakfast area where there was adequate provisions Juice, Cereal, toast etc. It is mainly bunk beds so be aware if you need to climb the ladder to the top bunk. You are politely asked to remove your footwear before entering the house and everywhere was spotless. The only slight improvement I would like are full sized bath towels, as only hand towels are provided. A very good stay Thank you to you both

Location is great, breakfast included - instant noodle,bread and fruits unlimited supplies of cold and hot drinking water. Is is not crowded and homely. Very accessible, train station, eateries are all nearby.

I can’t complain anything about this guesthouse. Very convenient location, lovely look, has everything you need for a short stay. The owners are a Korean & Iranian couple. They’re extremely helpful and very friendly. They stay up late and don’t mind helping you at all. I got out of the guesthouse at 1am something to catch my early flight and the husband got out immediately to help me with the luggage because “it’s my responsibility”. The guesthouse is full of small details for you to explore. The only minus point is the steep stairs you have to take to get to the guesthouse. But hey, the owners are always available to help you.
