I stayed 4 nights on friday, Monday. The reception was good. I spoke English. They provide information on all my travel plans before arrival. The room was tidy, with a small size, and it was old. The wifi was good. There was also a fridge. The kettle could have been helpful. Coffee shops are still close by. Also, the two supermarkets serve breakfast. Madrid is the city that never sleeps. Our room was at the front of the building, on the first level. We went through this fallout. There was no sleep on Friday and Saturday nights. Eventually, Sunday and Madrid slumber. Monday, madrid starts again. This sleep deprivation is not the hotel's fault, it is Madrid..

All the staff is very kind and friendly. The place is so clean with single room, balcony with exhaust fumes from the nearby restaurant and clean and comfortable. The location is just next to the Torto de Polina Metro Station, also close to metro and most sights of Madrid on foot. The Piazza Mayor was so short, as is the Puerta del sol. There is a lid supermarket here as well as many bars and restaurants.

We stayed 4 nights on Friday, Monday. The receptionist is excellent. He speaks English, and he is quick to provide travel information before arriving. The room was spotless because it was tiny and old. There is good wifi. A refrigerator was provided. A kettle would have been great too. 2 supermarkets are close by for breakfast items. Madrid is a city that never sleeps. Our room was in front of the building on the first level. We went through this cycle. Saturday night was virtually sleepless. Eventually, Sunday madrid does sleep. Monday madrid begins. This sleep problem is not the hotel's fault, this is Madrid. The hotel is conveniently located for sightseeing. Everything is within walking distance. We had a hard time sleeping..

Located near the center of the city, nice clean hotel. Excellent service, friendly staff, clean rooms and good value for money. But the fact that it is in the center, it's a little bit of a downer, I can't sleep well with all the noise.

I highly suggest this hostel. The hostel is in a great position, directly facing Polina metro station. The hostel has a lot of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, offering a wide selection of Madrid's attractions. We stayed in a triple room, which was clean, spacious, and comfy. Also, it had a minifridge, which was really handy. Although we only stayed one night, the personnel were courteous and spoke excellent English.

About Hostal Montaloya

With an enviable central location in the Tirso Molina square, at one minute walking from the metro station, and only five minutes from Plaza Santa Ana this is an excellent product for any type of stay. All its modern rooms are very clean, with parquet floorings, tiled bathrooms, and air conditioning and have a good size.
