Parking is safe and easy. Hotel staffs are nice and friendly, but the only thing needs to be adjusted will be tissue i the room. There’s no tissue placed for people staying in the room.

We first fell in love with the Silks Place brand when we stayed at their Taroko Gorge location. And now our stay in their Tainan location just adds to our affection for the brand. This is a very well managed hotel with an excellently trained and efficient staff. It is immaculately maintained throughout plus offers a variety of food choices in their many restaurants. We will definitely return to Tainan to further explore its history, and to enjoy the food, and royal treatment at Silks Place.

The staff were very kind, and the room was comfortable. A Japanese-speaking staff member kindly recommended great local restaurants and explained how to get there in detail, which made my trip even more enjoyable. The pineapple cake provided in the room was also very delicious. I would definitely love to stay here again when I visit Tainan.

Sleek, luxury 5-star hotel with excellent service and great facilities near the Confucius temple. When you check-in, they welcome you with winter melon tea, which was sweet and refreshing. We had the deluxe family queen bedroom, which was super spacious, with two queen-size beds, a long sofa and a dining table area. We were fortunate to be on the higher floors, and had a good view of the city looking South. The bathroom was large with a separate tub and shower, which was nice. The beds were a tiny bit hard but we slept fine. One highlight of the room is the amenities. The hotel provides an array of teas, coffees, cold drinks and snacks, not to mention extra bottles of water plus a water pitcher. (There are water dispensers on every floor.) There’s plenty of towels, a rare thing for hotels these days, plus slippers and bathrobes. Everything made our stay extremely comfortable and we enjoyed every minute here. The only downside of the hotel is that it’s also a popular wedding banquet venue, so the lobby gets crammed up with loud banquet guests, who like to gather and smoke right outside the front entrance, making it unpleasant to get in and out while they’re there. The hotel also shares outdoor spaces with nearby department stores, such as parking entrances, so quite a lot of speeding cars will cross paths with hotel foot traffic, making it dangerous to walk around. But overall, it was a lovely experience, and we would make this our go-to stay in Tainan anytime we visit.

The room was upgraded to a gorgeous suite! Staff was wonderful and eager to please. We loved the lounge but wished there was more control over rowdy and noisy children who were highly disruptive. We’re staying at a Hyatt in Taipei now and there are frequent signs which prohibit children running, screaming or playing.
