The resort was quite empty due COVID-19, and we were kindly upgraded to a larger room, which was spacious and comfortable. I had to work there for a couple of days and the furniture was good for that, even if a couple of power cuts made the internet a bit patchy. The pools are large and well-managed. The resort did not have most of its extra services such as spa, bar etc., but the included breakfast was menu-based and very acceptable. It is very well-located, in a quiet area but 5 minutes' walk from the port, with many choices for food and drink. We had to book in a hurry due to a ferry cancellation, but were very happy with our choice.

Room was good value, pool was very pretty. The cocktails were a bit low quality. TV didnt work, staff very quick to ask for money in an urgent pushy way. Asked to use a computer to send email and was told no problem then a moody lady said was not possible. Good location as near to pier and other attractions.

The hotel is located at the far end of the beach street with all its restaurants, bars and shops. Although it doesn’t located in the center we thought it would be the best choice for us since we didn’t want to listen to a loud music all night from all these bars and restaurants. To our surprise the restaurants and bars were very quite and empty due to coronavirus and drop in tourism. The shock came from the hotel we stayed in. The first day there was a note from the hotel left in our room with “so called” apology notifying us that the next night will be a staff night and they will have music till midnight. It was not just music. There were scrumming and loud laughing. The level of this noise (we would not even call this music a music) was much greater than ALL the restaurants and bars on the beach street. Since we live in Thailand we made our reservation just a couple of days in advance. If at the time of booking we were informed about their staff party we would choose a different hotel. Did they consider the customers and their comfort? Did they even care? At the time when they should care and think about each and everyone customer and in the crisis of the whole tourism industry this Thai hotel shows a complete ignorance. I would not recommend to pick this hotel which care about customers so little.

Lovely pool, rooms, staff, restaurant and small beach. I stayed in both the standard and deluxe rooms. To be honest, I didn’t notice much of a difference between them. Both had a balcony and large bed/bathroom. I stayed during low season so got a good rate and had no issues getting sun loungers. This might be an issue during peak time. The hotel is right near the pier and shops/restaurants.

We booked 7 nights in this hotel and it was supposed to be the relaxing part of our time in Thailand. The beds were so rock solid (more than usual in Thailand) we had awful sleep and constantly waking up with dead arms and legs because of it!! We had our room cleaned by house keeping only once, on this day 11,000 Baht (£250) and make up was taken from my room. When discovered, we told the evening member of staff - his reaction was not of someone shocked to hear this!! We then investigated our room and discovered the 'window panes' either side of our door were in fact a thin door in itself which was unlocked and hidden behind the curtains which is why we only discovered it when we started testing the security of the room. There was also an unlit cigarette on our raised porch (most likely from the staff/culprit. Had to have been dropped there) We spoke to the hotel manager the next day and she was so rude, I explained this had ruined my birthday. She did not care and called us liars - first she said that our room had not even been cleaned that day as " a man was sleeping in the bed so cleaners left" - we were 2 female travellers and deliberately left the room on that day so we could have our room done. She then admitted the room was cleaned by staff but said: "I have asked my staff and they all said they did not steal" - like they would admit it and face sacking/police charges!? We asked for resolution by refund or restaurant/bar/activities credit, she refused and said only Booking.com could process the refund after we had checked out - this turned out to be untrue and in fact the opposite - Booking.com told me things can only be processed at the hotel and by them, and it becomes impossible after you have checked out. Hotel manager clearly knew this. On 2 separate occasions after this we had the master keys left in our door and not a cleaner in sight! This also happened to two other groups of travellers in the hotel we met!! Very dodgy - DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!
