The accommodations had excellent amenities and were adequate. However, when you have a problem, the location and reception staff are utterly useless. Additionally, there are numerous large boats on the beach, with hundreds of visitors arriving every 30 minutes, adding to the already congested beaches. You are then placed on strewn with people. The hotel is located on the quiet side of the main hub on phi, near the end of drag on its pier side. The location is very good, the staff are very friendly and the room is comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a real treat! They have sandbar and some great places to lounge and enjoy the beauty of island. I cant say enough good things about the employees, grounds or food. The breakfast spread was also good. After, a luggage area would have been helpful. Later on, the bathroom could have used some improvement. Hereupon, we got the first ground floor unit which was amazing. Thereafter, they should have put fewer lights in the room. In the sequel, our room was spotless and nice.4.6/524 Jun 2024

This hotel is all about the location, the great views, a great beach bar, and sun loungers to look out over the sea, but it itself leaves much to be desired. Its rustic, to put it mildly. Arrival Look for luggage transport from the port to the hotel, someone with trough trolleys will assist you. We arrived by ferry and had ten minutes to walk to this hotel. On the face of it seemed idy, on the surface it appeared to have been merely flimsy at 33 degc, so it was difficult to move! When we arrived, receptionist said there was transportation for our bags waiting at the ferry port for us, we were completely unaware of this. Emailing ahead would be helpful if the motel would post remark about this in advance. The bathroom was very basic, with gaps in the wall. Our room was in room D 5, beware, three flights of stairs without air conditioning. Although the room itself was fine, it had its own veranda, which was nice. However, because there wasnt any critters coming in, they had to use the gap in their mouth to keep mosquitoes and other animals out. In the end, though, there were moss bites, although not too bad. But ideally, an apartment as basic would not have existed. Power outages throughout the island. As firsttime4.6/515 Jun 2024

I didnt make the wrong decision when i chose this hotel based on reviews and very nice staff. The room was very beautiful, clean and spacious, they waited for us at the pier and took us to the hotel. Views are just breathtaking. Only wish they offered more variety in breakfast. Their bakery is just speechless and delicious.4.6/523 Feb 2024

The hotel is in a fantastic position, right on the beach in the peaceful side of town yet still close to the main area where many restaurants are. The beach was spotless and there were many sun loungers. Both the beds and the rooms were spotlessly clean. Although we had heard that there werent any rooms where the shower was partially outside, the bath had recessed holes in it to let the steamy air out. Breakfast was excellent, with dozens of options and authentic thai pancakes that were excellent. We received complimentary snorkeling equipment and utensils from the staff, who were extremely kind, picked up our luggage at the pier, organized opportune day tours around the Phi islands for surprisingly low prices, and provided us with snorkel gear and kayaks as well. Additionally, she spoke excellent english. You didnt really need realism because the sea was so clear and clean you didn4.6/58 Sep 2023

The hotel is located at the end of the main street, so its really quiet but still close to everything. No need to take a taxi boat. The staff are very nice and helpful! The location is far from the center and pier, so its mostly quiet and the beach isnt busy. The rooms are perfect, comfortable beds and comfortable balconies with amazing views! Breakfast is delicious but there aren't many dishes to choose from. What a great hotel!.4.6/59 Jan 2023

This place is amazing! The rooms are very nice and slightly different from the others. My friend had a better view but i had the cool bathroom that opened up so he could see the ocean from his shower. Everyone on the island was very friendly! We spent three nights at mama beach and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its location, which may not suit everyones preferences. The grounds are stunning in general, and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Although it may be not the most luxurious or latest stay, we had a great time there because of its charming atmosphere and calm atmosphere. All the action is only ten minutes away - the luggage service to and from the ferry is excellent, the bars are fantastic and available early or late, breakfast was delicious and complimentary, private swimming area for guests, minimarts are nearby for water and snacks. We had our walkout room and loved the lush greenery in front. However, since these arent brandnew rooms by any means, they do have varying degrees of charm, but the bathroom could use some updating because it was gloomy there, especially when the sun set and it seemed like the majority of the mosquitoes were there. Without if we could return, this would be our next stay!.4.4/58 May 2024

We stayed here for 2 nights and would gladly stay more. The hotel staff were very friendly. On the first day, when we arrived early they treated us with free breakfast while waiting for our room to be ready. They offer kayaks for free for two hours. The breakfast is absolutely essential for your stay! It was beyond amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was old and small. There was a lot of noise from outside and from neighbors. Bed was hard. Pool as small as if it were coins. 1000 boats are right on the shore. Overall ok, but not worth the price.4.2/525 Jul 2024

The resort also kindly asks guests to provide all their names and information in English during the booking process. You are not allowed to book more than three rooms for a stay.Luggages: Please be informed that our staff is waiting at Ton Sai Pier after each ferry arrival to assist you with your luggage. The property is only a 10-minute walk from the pier (750 meters).Catering: Mama Restaurant is now open from 7:15 for breakfast until 15:00 for light meals and snacks only; we don't provide catering services for dinner.Bedding: An extra bed is available only for the Comfort Room and for guests over 12 years old. This extra bed can be used only by one person. The extra bed charge includes one breakfast.Facilities: We are offering a jacuzzi and not a swimming pool. You are the most welcome to Mama Beach Residence.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time.
