Pool area nice, some people leave towels to save the seats, the usual problem on all hotels..but nice with the bar near the pool on the roof offering drinks and food and a smaller gym in the same area..very nice pool with view from pool

Waren in Zimmer 1706. Hotel war super, nettes Personal, super zentral, aber in vergleichsweise ruhiger Seitenstraße. Sehr großes und geräumiges Zimmer, toller Rooftop-Pool und gepflegtes, kleines Gym. War für zwei Nächte Patong hervorragend.

We were very satisfied with the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. The staff quality was also very good and professional. Unfortunately, since we woke up late during our stay, we never managed to attend breakfast. However, if we come back to this area again, we would definitely consider staying here. That being said, we were very disappointed with the Similan Islands tour sold by the hotel. The boat was extremely uncomfortable. During a breakfast stop, our group was combined with a Russian tourist group. There were two guides — one Russian and one local. Due to the heavy accent, it was already difficult to understand English. The Russian guide spoke almost entirely in Russian for extended periods of time. The French tourists and we, as Turkish guests, could not understand anything. The Russian guide spoke for several minutes in Russian and gave very limited space for the other guide to provide explanations in English. Even when the second guide spoke, it lasted no more than a few seconds. As non-Russian guests, we felt excluded from the experience and left without proper information about the places we were visiting. This created a clear imbalance in communication and made us feel that some guests were prioritized over others. Despite expressing our concerns during the tour, no meaningful adjustment was made, which was very disappointing. Additionally, the food was served in plastic containers and looked quite unhealthy. Nice good sized room in this boutique hotel which is about a three minute walk up from the popular Bangla Road. It is tucked off the main through road so you don’t have a lot of the noise of the surrounding area other than the increasingly annoying and unnecessary raw of the exhaust on the souped up scooters and motor bikes that are popular with genitally challenged young Saudi biker gangs. The Thai authorities really need to clap down on this in Phuket more than any other place in Thailand as it is running out of control. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and the rooftop pool had spectacular views down to the beach and of Phuket Bay. Due to the run of bad weather and the rain season extending later this year, sadly the swimming pool temperature was extremely bracing! However, the restaurant on the roof and the overall facilities were great. The staff for also very helpful and after staying in Phuket a number of times previously trying different hotels, this one is the one that I will look to return to in the future due to it’s all round service and ideal location.

This is my 8th night at the Gig and I moved to the junior suite after 4 days which is really nice. All the reception staff are amazing especially Ji… recommend the Gig 100 %

Amazing hotel, tge staff are so friendly and helpful 24 hours 7 days a week, always there to help and serve you. I would definitely recommend the the Gig. The rooms are beautiful and the location is perfect.
