Gracious, professional, incredibly accommodating staff. The building is a 700 old mansion, beautifully renovated and furnished. Rooms are clean and have all the amenities one can expect. The view of the plains of Mesopotamia from the house is gorgeous. It is in the historical part of the town and is close to the main shopping areas

Bra boende med fantastiskt frukost och vacker vy över Mesopotamiens slätt. Personalen trevlig och välkomnande. Det var lite jobbigt med väg direktion till detta hotell som låg lite avsides, men i själva verket är nära till stora gatan i Mardin. Roligt att det fanns arabisk talande personal som gjorde vår vistelse fulländad.

This property gives you a truly unique experience. It combines the historical ambiance with modern amenities. All foods are made at the property and provide a marvelous experience. At night, you are surrounded by thick, high quality silence. In the daytime, it is walkable close to the main old town street and the marketplace. The experience is truly unforgettable!!!

Hotel owner and the staff were so welcoming that you feel at home. Rooms are authentic and clean, view outside is amazing and surrounding environment has a unique vibe to it. Also, both dinner (make sure that you ask for it, they prepare it for you) and breakfast were very delicious. If you even have one night in Mardin, I strongly recommend that you have dinner here; it is the local food that’s being served in this historical mansion for generations. Overall, Mardius is by far the best place to stay in Mardin with exceptional service and great attention to detail in all aspects.

This is such a beautiful place to stay in a historic location. It has has the best service I have gotten in Turkey. The food was amazing and the staff were very helpful and kind. I was given a tour around the city by Mahmut and he speaks English very well and has a lot of helpful insights.

One can easily feel that this hotel is managed more like a beloved home, from someone who spend generations living there than a bussiness property. I can't say enough wonderful things about my stay at this hotel. I've stayed at this historical mansion many times over the years and how lucky I am that it's an historical mansion. My second home. It offers it's guests a unique accommodation experience. You feel like kings in fairy tales thanks to the hosting of its experienced staff in addition to this historic building. The rooms are filled with stories, and were designed to reflect its 700 year history and give guests the chance to experience peace and quiet in the past of Martin. Additionally, the restaurant is a full gastronomic stop with its delicious meals and service quality. Every minute you spend in this historical mansion, which is simple to reach but difficult to leave, will take you away from the reality of the world and bring you peace in the magnificent view of Mesopotamian.
