We received a really warm welcome to this lovely little hotel. We found the room to be clean, spacious and very comfortable. Staff at the hotel are really helpful, offered advice around day trips and even let us borrow their Istanbulkart! The breakfast room is lovely; great view of the city and really fresh and tasty food to start the day. The ladies who prepare the breakfast are nice, what they lack in English they make up for in hospitality. The hotel is in the old city which has nice restaurants about 5 mins walk away, the immediate area looks very 'lived in' but I like the charm that it offers and it felt very safe whilst walking around at night. I'd definitely stay here again.

The service was good, everyone had been friendly and helpful. The room was clean and large enough for three people. The most interesting thing is the area where the hotel is located. It is a mix between touristic (as it is preety close to the main attractions) and local life. Not so close to the nearest metro station.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 5 days. Just as the name states it's located in the old city and within walking distance to everything (shopping centers, restaurants, tramway, etc.). Our room and bathroom were small but the service was excellent. The hotel is not fancy or grand, but it's a good quality/price for the location. Also, the manager Ömer made up for anything the hotel could lack. I often travel and his client service skills are really beyond anything I've seen before; he's usually not there at nights but he stayed back the night before our checkout to say goodbye to us. Breakfast was included in our stay, there weren't many options but the kitchen staff prepared whatever local dish we order in the morning, portions were enough and the food was good too. Know before you go: Bring your own toileteries and towel (I didn't like what was provided but I'm a very picky person); don't hesitate to ask for additional blankets (the one in our room was thin and I'm often chilly) or anything you need the staff is very helpful. Also, the hotel offers tours through different agencies, we did the "luxury dinner on the boat tour" for $50 but it had nothing luxurious and the food was cold and bland; the other tour we went on was very interesting it was €90 ($104 usd) and included visits to the most famous touristic attractions in instanbul, with 3 hours boat ride on the bosphorus and a delicious lunch on the boat (this one was sooo worth it). Overall, I liked my stay there!

Alles war super. Das Personal i das Frühstück sehr nice 👍. Wir hatten zwei normale Zimmer, da wir mit Kind waren haben sie von sich aus ein upgrade auf Familie Zimmer gleich gemacht. Der Grand Baazar ist 900m vom Hotel entfernt.

I highly suggest staying there, I and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the location for its great hospitality and clean rooms. The place was extremely clean and cozy, with a lovely terrace and really friendly staff, and it's also a 10 minute walk from all public transportation. They upgraded our room for free when they knew we were staying for 6 nights and were honeymooners, omer who is the owner is very decent and helpful, he guided us to the hotspots and gave us recommendations on how to go anywhere on a budget. Frat, who is also a business owner, assisted me in getting fresh lemon and ginger to make hot drinks for my wife when she caught cold before our arrival.

Very friendly, cooperative, and most helpful staff ever! Very clean rooms and strategic location near most historic sites like Grand Bazar, Blue Mosque, Ayasofya Mosque etc. They speak English easily so they can communicate well.

Great family-run hotel. The owners and staff are the friendliest and most helpful. The rooms are super clean and reasonably priced. The location is excellent, close to the major attractions, and a lot can be found within 10 to 20 minutes' walk. The rooftop terrace is special.

Sejour en famille agreable dans cet hotel familial. Lhotel est bien situe avec vue sur la mosquee bleue et la mer marmara. Acces presque immediat a la station kumkapi et ensuite desserte sur tout istanbul. Merci a Omer pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. Un grand clin d'œil a Merdja pour son sourire et sa bonne humeur au petit déjeuner, qui a rendu linstant encore plus agréable.

Location fantastic for main tourist attractions. Overall good value for money. Lots of local eating places within walking distance. Hotel staff friendly, room adequate and very clean with comfortable bed. Breakfast adequate so value for money. However, room 503 had an issue with hot water in the shower, in the mornings when complained was informed it was a technical issue so had to wait over an hour to have a shower in the mornings.

The balcony door was very loud, window was broken. Room was small, only one copy of key and no way to lock from inside without key. No sausage or meats for breakfast, could have been better.
