Stayed for 4 nights in a while, in one of the smaller double rooms (6). Clean & tidy albeit a bit quirky in a building 300 years old or so. Pleasant hosts Chris & Sue plus other staff with good range of breakfast options tried, always well cooked. Only slight blemish was a crack in the on-suite sink & toilet seat sloppy. Other than that all very good, including improved parking to rear in designated area.

The host, Chris, was so kind to pick me up from the bus station when I was unable to get a taxi, especially since it was raining. I had a problem with the TV as well as a leaking shower, but Chris fixed them both. The bed was clean and comfortable, as was the room. Great location, within easy walking distance to the centre of town, even in the rain! Breakfasts were so amazingly good, I tried a different menu each day and was never disappointed. Thanks so much, Chris and Sue, I'll definitely be back!

Breakfast was perfect, homemade sausages and preserves. Room was clean and tidy. Parking was excellent with a small additional cost. Very close to town and supermarket.

Beautiful family run guest house in the heart of the town , I was made to feel so welcome and the breakfast was delicious, comfy bed and tv and nice clean bathroom , will definitely stay again when passing through !

The hosts at the Angel were assiduous in contacting me before I arrived and attended to all my requirements once I found them. I had a very comfortable and convenient overnight stay at short notice and immediately prior to New Year - breaking my long journey from the south east to Penzance. A lovely home cooked breakfast as well.Thankyou

Ich war sehr froh das die Betten bezogen waren und Handtücher zur Verfügung standen. Zimmerreinigung zwischendurch gab es nicht wegen Coronavorsichtsmaßnahmen. Sehr gutes englisches Frühstück und was ich daran besonders schätzte war die Vegetarische Variante. Lecker sind die Marmeladen.

Stayed for 3 nights with work and no complaints at all.... quiet, clean and comfy rooms with parking. Had to leave before breakfast was served so was given a tasty lunch bag .... highly recommend and when in the area again I’ll be looking to book again..... great service 👍

This is one, if not the one, of the best B&B we stayed in. Everything there is great: location is very good and easy to find, it's easy to park, Chris (the owner) was very kind, rooms are great and very clean, breakfast choice is very good and food is really good. I cannot recommended more, do not go anywhere else.
