Stay date 4th to 5th April 2026 Clean room: Room was very clean. Staff: very kind Breakfast: Croissant taste is very average. Normal white bread. Milk, coffee, tea bags available. Inside Room: *Stayed room 14. There is no night lamp available so with kids very different. So we light on bathroom and opened bathroom door for light. *Pillow size is big so not suitable for kids. *Important heater is working slowly so not hot room temperature. * duvet length size is small even for adults so legs outside. * TV is smart without YouTube, Amazon so we did laptop screen mirroring with TV. * Bath Towel looks like old with washed. * All switches is tightened. * Location is good, nice car parking. We have sea salt soul fish , chips shop near by, premium in shop by walk. * Dyce railway station is very close.

It was fine for what I needed. I arrived late and left early. I was put off by the other reviews and nearly didn’t go. It was adequate for 1 night.

When i first arrived I got a bit of a shock with the surroundings as looks like a building site and just a bit dodgy overall, i hadn't realised i could park right outside the door and had parked a bit along from it. As i was walking towards the hotel An old woman drove past me shouting 'You've blocked my driveway!!' (which i hadn't) so i explained i was just away to find my hotel to check in and then i would move my car, her response was 'If I was you I wouldn't be staying there!!' then drove off. So i was instantly very apprehensive about staying in the hotel. After a phonecall i was greeted by a young man and he showed me to my room, i am actually owe him an apology as i was now very negative about staying and accepting the room, he was very calm and polite and reassured me the hotel was completely safe to stay. So i moved my car to right outside the door where it was very safe until the morning. The room wasn't spotless but it wasn't dirty (apart from the skirting boards, they all need a good wash down) I had a good night's sleep as it was very quiet, the mattress was a bit lumpy and needs replacing. The continental breakfast was lovely. So there are good points and bad points about this place. Would i stay again....... probably. Some of the photos are very misleading, this is maybe how it looked 5 or 10 years ago.

The room was comfortable and clean but the building could use some tlc. It’s less a hotel, more a bed and breakfast with cereal and toast available in the morning. There was no one theret when we arrived so we rang a telephone number on the wall and we were told which rooms were ours. There is no reception but someone turned up later to see if we were ok and pass on the breakfast details and WiFi passcode. The contact was pleasant enough and the facilities were fine, hot shower, tea and coffee making in the room. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The general demeanour of the building might put some off but we were ok with it.

This place is terrible, tired, dirty, at check I was met by, I assume the owner, in flip flops and a towel. I couldn’t stay!
